Welcome back to the gridiron in Madden NFL 24! If you are a first time player, here are a few things you need to know:
Madden NFL 24 offers the ability to change accessibility and game settings and choose your team when you first boot so you can make the game unique to your playing preference before you start the game.
On Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 this game includes the following menus Quick Play, Ultimate Team, Superstar, Franchise, and Training Camp. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 do not include the Superstar or Training Camp menus. Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC versions do not include Face of the Franchise or The Yard modes. All menus offer a variety of gameplay, story modes, team and career building options. Getting familiar with what these menus offer may be a good place to start to determine where you want to start playing.
Please note that the information in this guide is intended for all consoles and for the English, US Only version of Madden NFL 24.
Noteworthy Features
Accessibility Menu
Menu Narration (Vision)
Turn this on and off to narrate all setting names in settings menus and in-game menus. For example, when the play call menu appears in-game, menu narration will narrate what menu is being displayed, that there are three options and read all three options to you. When menu narration is turned off, the only option that will be narrated is the title "menu narration" to alert you that it is turned off, all other options will be silent.
Subtitles (Vision, Hearing)
Subtitles are only available during cutscenes in Superstar mode. You can turn this option on and off to display dialogue between your custom character and other characters in the game.
Controller Vibration (Mobility, Sensory)
When controller vibration is set to assist, then the controller will rumble during significant gameplay like to signal when to press the kick meter button or when the ball has been caught by your controlled player.
Chat Features (Vision,Hearing)
This game offers plenty of chat features including Voice Chat and Quick Chat. Both can be used when playing online with friends in many of the different modes.
In-Game Features
Button Call Out (Vision)
When narration is turned on, the on-field buttons that appear above players’ will be narrated when they are open for a pass.
Game Difficulty
Game Difficulty allows you to choose how difficult game play and CPUs will be when playing against them.It includes Rookie, game play for beginners; Madden,gameplay for moderate players, All-Madden,for seasoned players, and All-Pro, for the most experienced players.
Game Style
Game Style allows you to choose how the game is played. It includes Arcade mode with over the top action, Simulation mode where you can play an authentic game, and Competitive mode where you will have to rely on your game and stick skills to win the game.
Defensive Assists (Mobility)
This game offers many in-game defensive assists that you can turn on or off. . Defensive Ball Hawk, Defensive Heat Seeker, and Defensive Switch assists will help keep you in control of the player and ball when in defensive positions by automatically moving your players toward the ball when attempting to catch, run, or dive toward the ball or defenders.
Graphics/Visuals
Enlarge Field Icons (Vision)
Turn On/Off to make the button icons on the field bigger. This includes star players, kick meter, button prompts, stamina meters etc.
Volume
Volume Features (Hearing)
This game offers plenty of volume sliders that allow you to increase or decrease certain sounds like commentary, master volume, crowd volume, music volume etc.
