EA Austin Named a Top Workplace for 2014

Gabrielle Toledano

2014-11-17

I’m very proud to share that EA has been named a 2014 Top Workplace of Greater Austin. This award recognizes employers “that stand for the best in leadership, vision and an employee-centered culture” and I can say that EA in Austin certainly exemplifies these qualities.

If you’ve spent any time in Austin you know it’s a really fun town. In addition to the great live music and food scene, it’s a growing technology hub now coined “Silicon Hills”. I love any opportunity I get to visit the area. EA actually has two locations in Austin – our BioWare studio in The Domain where games like Star Wars: The Old Republic and the upcoming Shadow Realms are developed as well as EA Mobile games, and our Parmer location, home of our Worldwide Customer Experience team and a world class technology team.

That's why I’m very proud to share that EA has been named a 2014 Top Workplace of Greater Austin. This award recognizes employers “that stand for the best in leadership, vision and an employee-centered culture” and I can say that EA in Austin certainly exemplifies these qualities. What’s most exciting about this recognition is that the winners are determined solely on employee feedback.

Our BioWare studio in Austin has been named one of the best videogame studios to work for in Austin before and the team is building really awesome experiences for players. At our Parmer location, you can walk through the office and hear the buzzing WWCE team members helping out our players all day, every day.  I’m really proud to see these two locations recognized in this annual listing.

If you’re interested in learning more, check out our Careers page and see what opportunities we have to join the team!
