We are so excited to announce that we have passed the $1 million dollar mark in fundraising in support of Japan earthquake and tsunami aid.  As we pass this milestone, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone in our community for their help.

We are so excited to announce that we have passed the $1 million dollar mark in fundraising in support of Japan earthquake and tsunami aid. As an industry leader, we worked quickly to mobilize our studios, employees and gamers from our video game community to raise relief funds for those impacted by this disaster. As we pass this milestone, we just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone in our community and all of our partners for their help in this effort. Your generosity has been staggering! All proceeds raised through EA's titles, fan communities and social platforms are being distributed via the Red Cross, Mercy Corps and AmeriCares.

Rising to the occasion, each team brought a different take on contributing to the relief effort. EA Partners, currently working with Tokyo based developer Grasshopper Manufacture on Shadows of the Damned, is making a cash donation. EA SPORTS contributed $500,000 from all the day's sales of FIFA 11 Ultimate Team on March 26 for the Red Cross. Visceral Games and BioWare held eBay auctions for an array of autographed Dead Space 2 memorabilia and custom painted Dragon Age II-branded Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 consoles autographed by Co-Founders Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk.

Furthermore, our Burnaby campus in Canada partnered with the Kids Against Hunger Organization to provide food relief, and the employees at our largest development and testing studio spent two days tirelessly packing 100,000 protein-rich meals destined for the most severely quake affected areas of northeastern Japan.

The outpouring of support has been phenomenal and fundraising efforts are still ongoing for those who wish to contribute. Pogo.com and The Sims have worked together to set up a Red Cross microsite to match contributions from their communities up to $50,000. Battlefield Heroes is donating all profits from the sale of the Ninja Sword and Nigel's Ninja Daggers to the relief effort. Playfish is raising funds through in-game sales across many of their Facebook games including the Japanese Pagoda House in MONOPOLY Millionaires and Garden of Hope in Restaurant City.

Additionally, EA continues to match fund raising efforts globally. We are directing all contributions to the Red Cross, Mercy Corps and AmeriCares for Japan disaster relief.
