FIFA 13 Is the Biggest Videogame Launch of 2012

We had an unprecedented opening day with the launch of FIFA 13, and the records keep breaking. The game has sold over 4.5 million copies across all platforms worldwide in just five days making it the biggest videogame launch of the year.
Fans are playing the game in record numbers. On September 30, we saw the busiest day for online gaming for a single title in EA history with 800,000 fans playing the game simultaneously. More than 66 million online game sessions have already been played.
The excitement for the game since launch only escalated when it was released in the UK. The game sold more than 1.23M copies in the first 48 hours there, making it only the second videogame franchise to ever sell more than 1M copies in the UK in one day.
