Relive the 2014 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing
2014-10-16
EA is proud to have participated in the 2014 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, the largest conference in the world for women in technology.
The annual event, hosted this year by the Anita Borg Institute in Phoenix, featured over 8,000 attendees this year. EA’s own Lyndsay Pearson, Senior Producer for The Sims 4, presented on the development process for the game.
The event is named after Grace Hopper, one of the pioneers of computing, who helped develop sophisticated computing techniques in the 1930s and 1940s. We were thrilled to participate alongside so many bright and impactful women in gaming.
