Split Fiction is coming to Nintendo Switch 2!

Get ready to play Split Fiction on Nintendo’s next system

We are thrilled to announce that Hazelight's critically acclaimed co-op game Split Fiction will be coming to the Nintendo Switch^™ 2 system as a launch title! In addition to the existing versions of the game, players can soon experience the heartfelt storytelling and exciting action of Mio and Zoe’s story on a brand new platform.

New Switch 2 Features

The Nintendo Switch 2 system version of the game will offer players the exact same gameplay and story but also take advantage of the system’s unique features: GameShare and GameChat!

GameShare will allow players to play locally with just one copy of the game with another player on their Nintendo Switch 2, even if they don’t own the game. 

GameChat on Nintendo Switch 2 will enable players to share live video and voice chat from their console while playing Split Fiction together.

Friend’s Pass* and Crossplay support

Like the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S versions of Split Fiction, Nintendo Switch 2 players can also use the Friend’s Pass to play online with a friend even if that friend doesn’t own their own copy of the game. 

Split Fiction can also be played cross platform, meaning players will be able to play together regardless of their system. This will require an EA Account , but players can sign up for a free EA account here. Learn more about the Friend’s Pass and Crossplay in this blog.
