Release Recap
Team of The Week: Week 7
- LTD
- Chase Edmonds (ARI, HB - 94 OVR)
- 10/20/2019 | Giants vs Cardinals | Final Score: 21-27 | Stats: 150 total yards and 3 touchdowns.
- I remember this week all too vividly. David Johnson was questionable with an injury and ended up playing, only to take a backseat to Edmonds’ insane performance. This item is one of the most elusive in the game, with a 93 speed, 94 acceleration and 92 change of direction.
- 10/20/2019 | Giants vs Cardinals | Final Score: 21-27 | Stats: 150 total yards and 3 touchdowns.
- Chase Edmonds (ARI, HB - 94 OVR)
- Heroes
- Roddy White (ATL, WR - 93 OVR)
- 10/24/2010 | Bengals vs Falcons | Final Score: 32-39 | Stats: 201 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns.
- You can’t have the Young Alge Crumpler without Roddy White! Man, I’m loving these Falcons items. Roddy White and Julio Jones were arguably the most dynamic WR duo in the NFL for a few years. The four-time Pro Bowler had six consecutive seasons of more than 1,000 receiving yards. This item is electric, as well, with a 92 speed and an impressive ensemble of receiving attributes.
- 10/24/2010 | Bengals vs Falcons | Final Score: 32-39 | Stats: 201 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns.
- Jay Ratliff (CHI, DT - 93 OVR)
- 10/19/2014 | Dolphins vs Bears | Final Score: 27-14 | Stats: 7 tackles, 3.5 sacks.
- How about some love for the big boy! The six-foot-four, three hundred-plus pound nose tackle has a beastly item, rocking a 92 strength and 92 block shedding. Good luck running on a defense with Ratliff plugging the middle!
- 10/19/2014 | Dolphins vs Bears | Final Score: 27-14 | Stats: 7 tackles, 3.5 sacks.
- Roddy White (ATL, WR - 93 OVR)
- Player of the Week
- Cooper Kupp (Rams WR - 93 OVR)
- 10/24/2021 | Rams vs Lions | Final Score: 28-19 | Stats: 10 receptions, 156 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
- Cooper Kupp (Rams WR - 93 OVR)
- Elites
- Kyle Pitts (ATL, TE - 89 OVR)
- 10/24/2021 | Falcons vs Dolphins | Final Score: 30-28 | Stats: 7 receptions and 163 receiving yards.
- DeVondre Campbell (GB, MLB - 89 OVR)
- 10/24/2021 | Packers vs Washington | Final Score: 24-10 | Stats: 13 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.

- D’Ernest Johnson (CLE, HB - 82 OVR)
- 10/24/2021 | Browns vs Broncos | Final Score: 17-14 | Stats: 168 total yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Azeez Ojulari (NYG, LOLB - 81 OVR)
- 10/24/2021 | Giants vs Panthers | Final Score: 25-3 | Stats: 5 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
- Kyle Pitts (ATL, TE - 89 OVR)

Wildcard Wednesday: Heavyweights
- Al Woods (DT) - 92 OVR
- Seahawks, Titans, Colts, Steelers, Bucs
- The 34 year-old veteran has been around the league and contributed everywhere he went. Woods has one of the bigger bodies in the league at six-foot-four and weighing about 330 pounds, and this MUT item will give opposing running backs headaches. 91 strength, 92 block shedding and 91 tackling make this item an elite run stuffer. Also, his 78 speed is nothing to scoff at.
- Seahawks, Titans, Colts, Steelers, Bucs
- Netane Muti (RG) - 91 OVR
- Broncos
- Netane Muti is one of my favorite players in the NFL today. The Hawaii born-and-raised interior lineman overcame an onslaught of college injuries to earn a starting spot on the Denver offensive line and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. He’s in his second year dominating in the NFL and is already one of the league’s strongest players. His 91 strength reflects that, I’m pumped Muti gets some love in MUT.
- Broncos
- Rob Havenstein (RT) - 91 OVR
- Rams
- The Rams veteran tackle has been a staple since being drafted in the 2nd round in 2015. His MUT item is an immediate starter on nearly anyone’s team. He’s bringing in an 89 strength, 90 pass blocking and 92 run blocking.
- Rams
- Maliek Collins (DT) - 91 OVR
- Cowboys, Raiders, Texans
- Collins drops into MUT with a well-balanced item with speed, strength and moves. The sixth-year lineman brings an 80 speed and 88 strength to your defensive interior. His 88 block shedding and 91 finesse moves make him an effective run stopper and pass rusher.
- Cowboys, Raiders, Texans
- Alex Singleton (MLB) - 91 OVR
- Eagles
- Alex Singleton is one of the most likeable players in the league, going from Montana State to getting cut by three NFL teams before playing two years in the Canadian Football League. Now, he’s in his third season with the Philadelphia Eagles and has emerged as a quality starter. This item reflects Singleton’s versatile skillset, with an 88 speed, 89 block shedding, 89 hit power and 80 zone coverage.
- Eagles

Legends Reveal
Plaxico Burress (Physical - WR) - 94 OVR
- Steelers, Giants, Jets
Plax! The Goalline Fade Gawd! One of my favorite Madden receivers ever gets his MUT item tomorrow. Burress stood at a towering six-foot-five and dominated defenses for 11 seasons. Burress was the eighth overall pick in 2000, playing five seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and four with the Giants before heading to the Jets and Pittsburgh to finish his career. He was an integral part of the Giants offense that took down New England in Super Bowl 42 (2007-2008 season). Welcome to MUT, Plax!
Troy Polamalu (Hybrid - SS) - 94 OVR
- Steelers
Playing in the same era as Plax, Polamalu was one of the most dominant of the entire era. He was synonymous with the Steelers. When you think “2000’s Steelers defenses,” Polamalu is probably the first name you think of (I will also accept James Harrison). How could you forget those locks? Despite having maybe the best hair of any player of all time, Polamalu put together a storied career. He was drafted 16th-overall in 2003 out of USC. He made eight Pro Bowls in 12 seasons, won two Super Bowls, was a Defensive Player of the Year and of course, is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. On the field, Polamalu picked off 32 passes, returning three for touchdowns. This week’s legends are, of course, separate from the Most Feared program, but… are they? The Plax and Polamalu items are certainly worth game planning around in MUT.
