Discover how EA's engaging onboarding experience empowers new talent
Ready to change the game? You’ve come to the right place!

I’m a sucker for sports (football, cycling, and step dance), a community builder, and a problem solver who thrives on bringing people together through sports, education, and impactful experiences.
I’ve spent more than a decade gathering people together and turning big ideas into even bigger realities. Whether launching sports campaigns, crafting brand activations for different companies, or orchestrating running and football events, I live to make things happen.
In 2024 I kicked off the adventure as Quality Designer at Electronic Arts!
Nine months later, joining this powerhouse of interactive entertainment is still an honor beyond words.
I started this journey with a lot of enthusiasm, even though I was shifting career paths. There was some anxiety, but everyone in EA Romania made me feel like I was at the right place at the right time.
For someone who had never worked in the industry, there was a lot of information to absorb, but the best part was that I never felt pressured to know everything right away. Long story short, I felt like I belonged… right after I discovered where the coffee machine was.
My onboarding experience at EA was well-structured, making my transition into the interactive entertainment industry much smoother than I had anticipated. Here’s how it helped prepare me for my role and aligned with my long-term career goals and passions:
- Understanding the complexity of Game Development. Learning about the development pipeline, quality processes, and collaboration across teams helped me quickly grasp where my role as a Quality Designer fits into the bigger picture.
- A supportive learning environment. The culture at EA emphasizes learning and growth, allowing me to gradually absorb knowledge and gain confidence in my abilities.
- Alignment with my career goals. My role at EA perfectly combines my love for problem-solving, quality assurance, and game design. Seeing the company’s commitment to quality and innovation reassured me that I was in an environment where I could continue learning and evolving.
- Hands-on experience, coaching, and mentorship. Having people willing to answer questions and guide me through real-world scenarios was invaluable in helping me transition into my new role.
- A culture that walks the talk. People at EA truly live up to the company’s core values and culture. The supportive atmosphere, emphasis on collaboration, and openness to new ideas aligned perfectly with what I was looking for in a long-term career.
My onboarding experience didn’t just prepare me for my day-to-day responsibilities. It helped me see how I could grow within the company and drive impact.
What I love most about being an employee at EA is how the organizational culture perfectly aligns with my need for flexibility, autonomy, accountability, and working with open-minded people. This ecosystem truly works for me, providing everything I need to do my job effectively.
The challenges I faced during my onboarding? Overcoming self-doubt, adapting to new tools and technologies, adjusting to corporate culture, improving technical skills, and managing expectations.
But with the remarkable team behind me, I know exactly how to navigate through these experiences.
