Sam Rivera
Lead Gameplay Producer, 2009 - present
Growing up an avid Club America supporter, Sam got his first job at EA to test the Mexican commentators for FIFA 10. His love for the game grew from there as he went on to become the Lead Gameplay Producer for EA SPORTS FIFA.
Sam’s background in engineering paired with his love of football, creativity and technology come together in his role with EA SPORTS. Sam is a hardcore FIFA player that enjoys competing on the Weekend League, which means chances are high that you have lost a match against him in an online mode.
Kantcho Doskov
FIFA Gameplay Director, 2005 - present
Originally from Bulgaria, Kantcho fell in love with football during the 1994 World Cup, where he watched his home nation of Bulgaria reach the top four. Inspired by Ronaldinho and the style of football known as Joga Bonito, he has a passion for skill moves and is an active football freestyler.
Having played football video games his entire life, Kantcho began work at EA SPORTS in 2005, excited to turn his love of the movement of football into his work and even had his skills captured for FIFA Street 2. He then joined the FIFA Development team as a Gameplay Animator in 2007 and has since held roles like Producer and Game Designer, before becoming the Gameplay Director for FIFA 22.
Shaun Pejic
Gameplay Producer, FIFA Gameplay, 2012 - present
Before Shaun became a gameplay producer on EA SPORTS FIFA, he was a professional football player in England, Wales and North America from 2000-2012. During his professional career, he also represented Wales at the U21 level against teams like Finland, Italy and Serbia, to name a few.
During this time, Shaun was a massive gamer who loved playing FIFA, among other games. He brought that firsthand experience to EA SPORTS, joining the team for the launch of FIFA 13. He’s continued to combine his experience on the pitch with his work on FIFA, as he works with the team responsible for designing and developing gameplay across multiple platforms and consoles.
Gabriel Zaro
Manager, Global Community Engagement (FIFA), 2018 - present
Gabriel was born in Brazil, a country that lives and breathes football. In his early work, he had the honor of developing the communications strategy for one of the biggest clubs of Brazil - and his childhood team, Atlético - while working with one of his all time favorite players; Ronaldinho.
An avid gamer and FIFA aficcionado, Gabe played a big part, both as a club manager/player and as a caster, on the Pro Clubs Latin American scene before joining EA. Since then, his role as Manager of Global Community Engagement has been focused on developing a direct link between the game developers and the core community by creating platforms that prioritize transparency and clarity, as well as education and communication.
