In the era of the Old Republic, the Jedi Order and the Sith Empire fought bitterly for control of the galaxy. One of these legendary Sith was Darth Sion, the "Lord of Pain", who was able to repeatedly cheat death through the dark side of the Force. During the Jedi Exile's battle against Darth Nihilus, a Miraluka female named Visas Marr, the former apprentice of Darth Nihilus, played a pivotal role in defeating the "Lord of Hunger" by severing their Force Bond.

DARTH SION
The "Lord of Pain" is one of the members of the Sith Triumvirate, among allies Darth Nihilus and Darth Traya. The trio of Sith trained legions of warriors on the planet Malachor V and dispatched them to all corners of the galaxy to eradicate the Jedi Order.

Not only can you fight against Darth Sion in the new Sith Triumvirate Raid, you can also unlock him for your collection to bolster your Sith squads.

Darth Sion is a Tank and introduces a brand new debuff called "Pain". Enemies inflicted with Pain will deal reduced damage to Darth Sion and cause him to repeatedly Taunt. Additionally, Darth Sion can deal more damage to enemies inflicted with Pain and cause him to recover Protection. The more "Pain" Darth Sion inflicts on his enemies, the sooner he gets to "Hatred", which makes him more powerful and revives him after being defeated. Any squad facing Darth Sion that doesn't have the ability to persistently cleanse the Pain debuff, will greatly suffer at the hands of the Lord of Pain.

Basic Ability: Dark Rage
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and inflict Pain for 3 turns. If the target already had Pain, Dispel all debuffs on Sion.

Developer's Note: Enemies suffering from Pain will take bonus damage from Darth Sion. This is to demonstrate Darth Sion's mastery of Pain and using it to destroy his enemies.

Special Ability 1: Torment
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to all enemies and then Dispel all buffs on them. Then, inflict Pain on all enemies for 3 turns. Then, reduce the cooldown of this ability by 1 for each enemy without Pain. This attack can't be Evaded.

Developer's Note: There is no escape from the Lord of Pain

Special Ability 2: Break Will
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage and inflict Pain on target enemy for 3 turns. This attack can't be Evaded. If the target already had Pain, this attack deals 100% more damage and Sion recovers 35% Protection.

Special Ability 3: Held By Hatred
FINAL TEXT: Sion Dispels all debuffs on himself, recovers 100% Health and gains 100% Turn Meter. Sion gains Hatred until he is defeated, which can't be Dispelled or prevented. This ability starts on cooldown. When Sion inflicts Pain, reduce the cooldown of this ability by 1. (Cooldown 15)

Developer's Note: Once Darth Sion gains Hatred, he becomes significantly more powerful and will return to the battle after being defeated. This captures what allows Darth Sion to overcome Death, which is his Hatred towards enemies.

Unique Ability: Lord of Pain
FINAL TEXT: Sion has +100% Defense and +100% Tenacity against enemies with Pain. At the start of each enemy's turn, if they have Pain, Sion gains Taunt until the end of the turn. At the end of each turn, Sion has an 80% chance to inflict Pain for 3 turns on enemies who damaged him that turn. When allies Darth Traya or Darth Nihilus are Critically Hit, reduce Held By Hatred's Cooldown by 1.

Developer's Note: As the Lord of Pain, Darth Sion is much stronger against enemies suffering from Pain. The interaction with Darth Traya and Darth Nihilus reflects the power struggle between the Sith Lords.

VISAS MARR
At first glance, it might appear odd to see a light side character holding a red lightsaber. This stems from the fact that Visas Marr was originally the apprentice of Darth Nihilus, after he destroyed her homeworld and took her captive; forcing her to become his apprentice. Subsequently, Visas Marr was influenced by the light side of the Force and she turned against her master.

She is a healer and introduces a new buff type to the game, Defense Penetration Up, that ignores part of enemy Defense. She's currently the only light side character to grant Health Steal Up and has Anti-Sith synergy, making her quite effective in the Sith Lords Raid.

Basic Ability: Telekinetic Blast
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and Dispel all debuffs on Visas and another random debuffed ally. If the target is Sith, Visas Marr and her lowest-Health ally also recover 25% Max Health. If any debuffs were dispelled, reduce the cooldown of Dark Healing by 1.

Developer's Note: This is ability has a similar mechanic to Darth Nihilus's Basic Ability "Ceaseless Craving". I want to reflect the past of Visas Marr being the apprentice of the Lord of Hunger. 

Special Ability 1: Dark Healing
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to all enemies. All allies gain Health Steal Up for 1 turn and recover Health equal to 35% of Visas Marr's Max Health. If Visas Marr is at full Health after using this ability, revive a random defeated ally at 50% Health. (Cooldown 8)

Special Ability 2: Piercing Strike
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and grant all allies Defense Penetration Up for 2 turns. This attack ignores Protection. (Cooldown 4)

Unique Ability 1: Returned to the Light
FINAL TEXT: While Visas Marr has no debuffs, she has +100% Counter Chance and a 60% chance to Assist when another ally attacks Sith enemies (limit once per turn).

Developer's Note: Visas Marr played a critical role in the Exile's fight against Darth Sion and Darth Nihilus. This is an acknowledgment to Visas's devotion to the light side of the Force after her encounter with Meetra Surik, the Jedi Exile.
