That’s why we are excited to introduce EA Javelin Anticheat – the evolution of our flagship anticheat solution, which prevents, identifies, and addresses bad experiences wherever possible, and is a pivotal part of our defense-in-depth strategy. Since its initial launch in 2022, our anticheat solution has supported over 28 million PC players with fair play in over 2.2 billion PC gaming sessions across our largest franchises including EA SPORTS FC™, EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL, Battlefield™, F1®, EA SPORTS™ WRC, and Plants vs. Zombies.

The EA Javelin Anticheat brand was carefully chosen to communicate the core attributes of the solution: defense, strength, and agility. One where millions of players and fans around the globe can trust to ensure the integrity of EA games is preserved, allowing for fun–and fair–interactive entertainment.

A commitment to positive, fair play

EA is committed to creating a safe and fair experience for all players. As outlined in our Positive Player Charter, we ask everyone to play within the rules of the game and refrain from tampering or using cheats. Our policies prohibit activity that engages or assists in cheating, collusion, unfair play, or using exploits. This includes spamming, hacking, phishing, generating or distributing malware, or otherwise damaging or disrupting the systems of EA, our partners, or our players.

However, some parties still choose to attempt cheating in our games. This is where EA Javelin Anticheat comes in.

EA Javelin Anticheat is a PC anticheat solution designed to ensure fair play in EA games and help prevent cheating while focusing on privacy and security. The goal is for players to have a level playing field where results, progression and success are determined purely by merit. This gives our players a more secure experience, preventing cheaters from impacting others’ gameplay, security and privacy. 

To date, the solution has prevented cheating attempts while maintaining an accuracy rate of over 99%.
