Today, EA and PopCap Games officially launched the all-new Bejeweled Stars, available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play

The addictive gem-matching puzzle game that started it all is back and totally reimagined. Bejeweled Stars is loaded with new challenges, collections and fun ways to express yourself.

The team at PopCap has been hard at work bringing this match-3 game to life, even down to modeling our gems in 3-D and hiring a choir to sing “meow” for the last hurrah!

Rebuild the Night Sky
Use your brilliant matching skills to earn stars in every level, which then rebuild magnificent Constellations! With every Constellation you complete, unlock special rewards, which help you win challenging levels.

More Strategy and Challenges
In Bejeweled Stars, the game board comes to life – and you can often decide when and how. Master Currents as they move strings of gems. Lift up gem-filled Clouds and drop them into different sections of the board to create explosive cascades. Rescue floating butterflies before they escape into the sky. It’s a brand-new matching experience that takes you far away from the everyday.

Connect and Compete with Friends
With just one tap, you can fly through the sky to check out your friends. Want to see how your skills stack up? Each level has its own leaderboard, making it easy to track progress, engage in some friendly competition, and show off your powerful skills.
