Interviewing with Electronic Arts

You applied. Now what?

We've crafted a consistent, inclusive assessment and selection process that aims to reduce unconscious bias while championing diversity, making way for maximum flexibility with minimum disruption to schedules. If you’re interviewing virtually*, here’s what you can expect:

  • You apply on our website for a job that matches your skills and interests. Once we've reviewed your application, a recruiter will reach out to schedule a call if your experience and skills are a match. This initial call is to learn more about your background, the position, and the hiring team.
  • If we're a good match, you'll have a call with the hiring manager next. Be sure to ask questions! This is your chance to make sure the job is a good fit for your career goals.
  • Are we all aligned? Great — we're moving forward. Your recruiter will reach out to confirm your availability for interviews. We'll do our best to accommodate your schedule. Your talent coordinator will schedule your Zoom interviews, and will be in touch if we need to search for more availability. Either your talent coordinator or recruiter will confirm your interview schedule.
  • Your recruiter will let you know of any technical tests, case studies, or whiteboard exercises that may come up during the process. In some cases, we'll ask you to complete these prior to beginning your interviews. We want you to feel as prepared and comfortable as possible, so don't hesitate to ask us questions. We’re sure you’ll do great!
  • After your interviews, your recruiter will share feedback and chat through any next steps. Our timelines vary, but we do our best to move as quickly as possible for everyone's benefit.

*Virtual interviews are a bit different from our on-site interviews — but don’t worry! Your recruiter will share all of the details you need if we’ll be meeting in person.

We know the process can be intimidating, but we’re here to set you up for success. There's no big secret to getting a job at Electronic Arts. Do your research, come prepared, and be yourself! Here are a few quick tips to help you get comfortable:

  • Brush up on what we’re all about — check out our story, what it’s like to work here, and why you should choose us
  • There is no dress code at EA. Come as you are! Most folks opt for a business casual look.
  • You’ll interview with a number of EA teammates throughout the day. They’ll ask questions, and you’ll ask questions. Bring your creativity and curiosity, and be prepared to have interesting conversations!

We appreciate you taking the time to apply with us. You’ve got this!
