Conquest Assault: All You Need to Know

Relentlessly press the offensive – or hold your ground. Battlefield 1 Turning Tides brings back an old classic, Conquest Assault. You can expect dramatic battles, as you fight for every inch of ground to achieve victory.

Conquest Assault replaces the regular Conquest experience on the Cape Helles map of Battlefield 1 Turning Tides. The first wave of the expansion is now accessible for owners of Battlefield 1 Premium Pass or Battlefield 1 Revolution.

In this twist on the signature Conquest, attackers and defenders fight over key areas exclusively controlled by the defending team as the match starts. Each team has different starting conditions, raising the stakes while holding fast to the tried-and-true principles of Conquest at heart.

Though the defending team owns all the flags, at the start of the match, they will not have a headquarters – meaning they can only spawn on flags and squad mates. The attacking team initially owns no flags, but are compensated with a head start in their score. 

If the attackers are in control of all flags at one single time, the defenders can only jump into the action by spawning on squad mates or by way of the heliograph mobile spawn, available through the new Infiltrator Elite Class.

Speaking of Elite Classes, you’ll find that these pickups are more readily available in Conquest Assault. Be mindful of your surroundings to gain the edge on your opponent, as tension flares around each control point.
