• Coral Eyewear partners with GRID Legends Coral Eyewear joins forces with GRID Legends as an official in-game partner

Founded in 2019 by university student George Bailey, UK-based Coral Eyewear was created to revolutionise the eyewear industry by creating a circular economy with infinitely recyclable eyewear made from recycled materials.

Already the eyewear choice for athletes in the electronic motorsport world, Coral Eyewear ensures that sustainability doesn’t compromise on style.  The brand’s sustainable eyewear is designed in Britain and crafted by artisans in Italy. Their most popular collection, the Classics, are created with ECONYL® regenerated nylon - an innovative material made with harmful nylon waste that would otherwise pollute the Earth such as fishing nets and fabric scraps from all over the world. As well as cleaning oceans, the material also reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90% when compared with the material from oil.

Fans of Coral will be able to jump into GRID Legends and race with the eyewear brand's exclusive in-game livery. Additionally, Coral's distinctive logo will be seen across trackside hoardings throughout the game. Coral also supplied sunglasses for GRID Legend's filming of its new story mode, Driven to Glory, where characters can be spotted donning the trendy sunglasses throughout the cutscenes.

"It's incredibly exciting to have Coral Eyewear featured in GRID Legends and take our relationship with the motorsport world into the virtual space." Says George, “Innovative collaborations such as this helps us take our positive sustainability message to a new audience and accelerate our impact within the circular economy."
