• Need For Speed No Limits Mad Muscle Update

Listen for that guttural V8 roar as we turn our focus to muscle car classics!

    1932 Ford Model 18
Ask anyone to picture a hot rod in their mind, and chances are that they'll picture the Model 18. Not only did the car usher in a new era of mass-produced V8 engines, but it birthed an entire culture surrounding the love and maintenance of arguably the most striking cars that holds to this day. Engineering innovation helmed by none other than Henry Ford, fused with his son Edsel's forward-thinking aesthetic designs, the '32 Ford Model 18 is the perfect canvas for the heavily modded version you're going to see in NFS No Limits. The 1932 Ford Model 18 will be earnable in Need for Speed No Limits during the Rebel's Gambit Special Event starting May 25 (AEST).

    Proving Grounds
We're introducing a new special event feature to NFS No Limits called Proving Grounds. Here, things aren't as simple as beating the clock and your opponents any more. On top of the existing challenges of a race, you'll need to complete extra objectives such as drifting a specified number of meters, or hitting a certain number of drift zones. These will eventually culminate in Mix-Up, or Mega-Mix challenges, where you will need to complete up to three aditional objectives during a race. Objectives will vary throughout the special event, so be prepared! The first Proving Grounds special event in Need For Speed No Limits will begin June 7 (AEST).

    1973 Ford Falcon XB Coupe
Few all-Australian designed muscle cars have had such a cultural impact as the Ford Falcon XB Coupe. From the full-size body to the twin scoop hood, the XB Coupe exudes an imposing presence without even needing to peek inside its shell.

GT-variants sported 300-horsepower V8 engines, controlled via a four-speed manual, leading to short-term success in the Australian motorsport scene. In short, the car was built from the ground up to withstand everything the outback can throw at it. Maybe that's why it was able to survive so long after the apocalypse. The 1973 Ford Falcon XB Coupe will be earnable in Need for Speed No Limits during the Proving Grounds Special Event starting June 7 (AEST).

2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Fastlane Special Event Rerun
The modern day Z/28 is an illustrious combination of 21st century racing technology and tasteful design that hearkens back to the very first iteration of the Camaro. Players who missed the opportunity to earn the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 will be able to reattempt the Fastlane special event. If you own the Camaro, and don't own the 2001 Nissan Skyline BNR34 GTR, you'll instead be able to reattempt the Speedhunters limited-timed special event. The two cars will be earnable in Need for Speed No Limits for a limited time starting June 17 (AEST).
