Sul Sul! Welcome to our latest update’s blog! We’ve got two big reasons to be excited about this one Simmers:
Ever been confused about how to best earn Simoleons? Wondering what to do with a few unassigned Sims? Our latest update introduces the Community Market—a vibrant new location inspired by local farmers' markets where you can garden, meet Sims, and trade with them to earn heaps of Simoleons in your spare time. You can find it on the town map, right next to the Park along the riverbank.
Whether this is your first time visiting SimTown or you're a seasoned player, filling orders at the Community Market is the best way to earn Simoleons when you need them. This is a brand new feature to the game, and we're committed to making it the most fun and rewarding way to earn Simoleons. We would love to hear your feedback so we can continue to improve it over time! To learn more about Community Market, check out our dedicated blog post on the new feature!
On to the main event! Your Sims built a modern farmhouse in the previous update ‘Spring to Life’, but now, it’s time to see how modern the farmhouse can really get! Saying we’re going over the top with this one might just be an understatement. Get ready to sprinkle that Sims magic all over the house with a home theatre, a fabulous kitchen for baking cookies, multiple kids' rooms, and a tuxedo cat! Veena Fredishay!
Now, let’s look at all the new live events:
In the last update, your Sim transformed a rustic farmhouse into the most fabulous family home in the neighborhood! Naturally, the neighbors were a bit miffed about their house slipping to second place. But don’t worry—they’re rolling up their sleeves, ready to whip up a swanky new kitchen to start showing off!
Where’s that squeaking coming from? Shoo Flee! A herd of hamsters has washed up on the island! Poor little fluffballs don’t realize they’d be much safer in SimTown. Can you convince them all to follow you there before your rival?
A famous actor, in your very own Sim's neighborhood - and they're having a home cinema premiere! Not only is your Sim invited, they've been asked to hold on to the film. Whoops! Will you be able to help your Sim find the film before rival Oskar Golde? If you do, you’ll earn items to build your own home theatre! Jadosi!
Sunset Mall has been vandalized, and giant carrots have been spray-painted all over it! Adults and seniors are convinced the young’uns are up to no good. Your Sim, however, isn’t so sure. Can they uncover who the culprit is? And why is there a giant paw print at the scene?
Honestly, what’s up with Influence Island lately? First, it was the hamsters washing up on the coast, and now SimTown’s cats have all fled over to it! Your Sim must venture to the Isle of Cat Control and convince our feline friends to return. Are they up for it?
Get ready to roll, because SimTown's Annual Skate Competition is back, and it's bigger than ever! Last year's legendary shredder, Toni Hawkins, is back to dazzle us with their epic moves. Can your Sim step up to the challenge? With grind-tastic tricks, ollies that defy gravity, and kickflips that wow the crowd, it’s time for the real test! Grab your board, hit the park, and let’s see if your Sim can skate their way to victory!
From this update, players can now back up their SimTown by logging into their EA Account from Account Manager in Settings—and receive prizes for doing so!
Upon successfully logging in, players will receive a whole bunch of build items to decorate their Sims’ homes with. Alongside these exclusive build items you can only get from logging into your EA Account, you will also receive 25 LP and 20 SP!
Note: This integration doesn’t let you connect with your EA friends and they won’t show up in the Party Boat.
Some hairstyles never go out of style! Returning Hair Hobby Event ‘Combed Back Eras’ gives you another chance to earn the iconic hairdos from across generations!
Did you miss out on building the most demure cottage-core bedroom and lounge room? Don’t worry, returning Craft Challenge ‘Charming Cottage’ has you covered.
