As a leader in interactive entertainment, Electronic Arts is committed to empowering women in technology, and advancing gender diversity in the engineering, gaming, and technology community. We have a long and honored legacy of partnering with AnitaB.org and Grace Hopper Celebration - the world’s largest gathering of women technologists - where women and allies have the opportunity to learn, network, and be inspired.
As an ongoing sponsor of this event, we’ve had the great fortune to continuously expand our work together through student scholarships, attendance, and participation. This year’s virtual conference created a new environment to connect, inviting 50,000 women and allies worldwide to participate in more than 200 sessions and workshops. EA was one of 60 participating sponsors, sending a record 353 employees from 13 countries, representing all facets of the business to learn and be inspired. To enhance our employee experience at the conference, EA built a connected community with open chats on Slack, ongoing networking coffee conversations, and keynotes from our executive guests. We’re thrilled to participate in such an inspiring event, taking a step towards greater gender diversity in technology across EA and the industry at large.
