Results of the Customisation Items Survey

Recently, we asked the F1® Mobile Racing community to provide us with their feedback regarding the game’s customisation items. Thousands of you responded and filled out our survey — thank you! With this data, we are able to gain a better understanding of this aspect of the game.

We wanted to know what our community likes about this aspect of the game, how they use these customisation items, and what they would like to see in the future. We can’t promise that we will implement all of these in a single update, but it will be considered, and the data collected will be used to improve this aspect of the game with future updates. We’re committed to improving all aspects of the game using player feedback, and with each change and update made, player feedback is taken into consideration.

Our goal here is split into three categories: 

1. To identify which customisation items our players are currently enjoying to help plan around in-game rewards. 
2. Understand the motivation behind players’ decisions to participate in events to improve the gameplay experience.
3. And finally, learn from our community what other types of customisation items they would like to see in the future.

How the community responded

We asked you what type of customisation items currently available in F1® Mobile Racing you enjoy the most. According to our survey results, the liveries for the TR car are among the most coveted, with the Official Drivers and unique helmets coming in second and third, respectively.

When asked to rate in the order of preference which of the currently available customisation items you like the most, the liveries for the TR car came on top once more, with the profile banners ranking the least desired.

In addition to the customisation items, we asked what entices you the most to enter an event. Half of you who responded to the survey are mostly enticed by Currency rewards as the main reason to join events, whereas customisation items and placing them on leaderboards are both secondary and on par with each other.

What the future holds

Thanks to your feedback, we’re able to gain a better understanding of how our players use and enjoy this aspect of F1® Mobile Racing. And as such, we will use this information to improve upon it. These improvements, however, will be gradual, and some may not be well suited, but we want you to know that we hear you and will do our best to continue to improve not just this aspect of the game, but others as well.

As part of that, we also asked you how interested you are in seeing certain customisation items from a list of suggestions to be added in a future game update.

The majority of you expressed your interest in Racing Suits and Racing Gloves, a customisation item we are strongly considering adding, but of course, will require some work to properly integrate into the game in the best and most suitable way possible.

In contrast, customisation items related to avatars and banners were not as popular, but still very much a desired aspect that we can improve on.
