EA SPORTS ambassador and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart moves up 59 places in 'Joe Hart's EA SPORTS Player Performance Index League' having collected a total of 246 Fantasy Premier League points in February which means he ends the month in 799th place.
EA SPORTS, who are the Official Sports Technology Partner of The Premier League, have set up a Fantasy Premier League Mini League to give football fans the change to pit their wits against England’s No. 1 goalkeeper.
As part of this partnership The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index has an effect on your Fantasy Premier League team.
In Fantasy League, the three best performing players in each match according to the EA SPORTS PPI receive additional bonus points. Three points will be awarded to the highest scoring player, 2 to the second best and 1 to the third.
Southampton’s Rickie Lambert was Joe’s star performer within the Fantasy Premier League during February. The striker achieved a total of 30 points for the month, followed closely by Everton’s Leighton Baines with 25 points throughout February in the Fantasy Premier League.
Joe is pleased with his performance for February, and is hopeful of another solid performance throughout March. He said, “I’m glad to see a rise in the table, as there is plenty of tough opposition in the mini league."
"It is difficult to decide which players to rotate in and out of the team and you just hope that your top performers pull in the points for you on the pitch! I’m looking forward to the next month, to see how my squad can fare against the other teams in the league.”
Joe’s performances between the sticks continue to see him as the highest ranked goalkeeper in The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index where he is currently positioned in 31st place overall. Interestingly The EA SPORT Player Performance Index tells us that Joe has had to make a total of 79 saves in his 27 Barclays Premier League appearances so far this season.
Joe currently sits just one place above his closest rival goalkeeper in the EA SPORTS PPI – Chelsea’s Petr Cech is currently positioned in 32nd place overall. Compared to Joe’s 79 saves this season, Petr Cech has had to make 144 saves for his team in his 25 appearances. The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index uses a comprehensive range of statistics to provide objective analysis about which players are the best and why.Don’t forget you can keep up to speed with how Joe and the rest of the Barclays Premier League players are performing this season by visiting The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.
Each month EA SPORTS will randomly select Fantasy Premier League players who successfully finish higher than Joe Hart in ‘Joe Hart's EA SPORTS Player Performance Index League' to win prizes courtesy of EA SPORTS. February’s lucky winners are as follows…
