Elf Month - Welcome to Rivendell!

Throughout this month of June, we will spotlight various Elvish characters straight from the stories of JRR Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit! You’ll shortly be seeing the wonderful trio of Lord Elrond, his daughter Arwen and one of his sons, Elladan. This means, new elvish characters are released throughout the month and leads up to our first Legendary Adventure for the Elven ruler of Rivendell, Lord Elrond.
Design perspective on Elves: We wanted the elves to feel different, unique to the other factions. When looking into them, the main points we aimed for were that elves are ageless, immortal, agile, skilled and magical. We’ve worked to make sure these core aspects shine through in their gameplay and depiction.

The first of the Rivendell elf family you’ll be meeting is Arwen. Noble daughter of Elrond, and Evenstar to her people. Not only is she beautiful but strong and powerful in her own right. Arwen defends her people against the rising Shadow. This lady of Rivendell is sure to be an indispensable addition to your team in facing the challenges ahead. Her Adventure, The Bitter and the Sweet, starts shortly in your games - don’t miss out!

Elladan, one of the twin sons of Lord Elrond, along with his brother Elrohir are known for their close friendship with a number of factions through Middle-earth as well as their deeds during the War of the Ring. The twin sons of Lord Elrond were key in scouting the way ahead and helped prepare the way ahead for the Fellowship. Loyal, and keen protectors, while not directly involved in the story of the One Ring, were seminal in helping ensure the downfall of Sauron.
Elladan will be joining his Elven brethren as another character coming soon to The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth. Expect a Character Adventure similar to Arwen - reminder: you’ll need to level 30 in order to access and play Elladan’s Adventure! We’ll have details around his kit and adventure soon.

Lord Elrond of Rivendell, holder of an Elven ring of power - Vilya, is a powerful immortal being. He commands the mighty Bruinen River which he uses to protect Rivendell and its inhabitants. Lord Elrond is also our very first Legendary character in The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth.
