McLaren have been one of the standout teams this season, with exceptional drives from Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri combining with the team’s development work to send the papaya cars rocketing up the order, challenging for wins and podiums.

To celebrate such a remarkable season, we’ve compiled some key stats on how you and the F1® 23 Community fared when playing as Lando Norris in-game.

Together, you competed with the virtual Lando in over 246,000 races, scoring podiums 57% of the time. Lando was chosen 8% of the time, and was most often selected for the Canadian Grand Prix at Montréal.

As we head towards the end of 2023, you can get into the seat of the Mclaren MCL60 once again to unlock some special and highly requested items in F1® World.

All challenges begin from December 26, and run for two weeks until January 9.

Take on the Lando Norris F1 Pro Challenge*

The 2023 British Grand Prix marked a significant turning point for the Woking-based team.

After some promising upgrades showed potential in Austria, Norris and Piastri stunned the paddock with a mighty qualifying performance at Silverstone, and then battled at the front of the field against Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton before Lando secured a memorable home podium.

The team ran a special Chrome livery for the event which shone brightly on-track, and once you beat the Lando Norris Pro Challenge in F1® 23, that livery will be yours to drive too, along with his Chrome race helmet.

Unlock more Special Items in F1® World

In addition to the F1® Pro Challenge, you can take on three special F1® World events to unlock even more items**.

First up is F1® Replay, where you’re challenged to recreate the team’s first double-podium of the year, at Suzuka Circuit in Japan.

Stand on the podium yourself and you’ll be rewarded with stickers to help complete your F1® World Compendium. 

Next, it’s off to Austria for an F1® World Scenario Event.

Entering the closing stages of the race, Lando Norris is running in P7, however he has a tyre advantage over those ahead.

Can you run through the pack and secure a podium finish? If so, you’ll be rewarded with the Triple Crown Livery, which McLaren used in real life to celebrate their 60 year history and racing success.

Finally, the F1® Replay at Zandvoort challenges you to score a podium as Oscar Piastri, in the most challenging and changeable weather conditions of the entire season.
