Welcome to Career Mode

Hi everyone I’m Sparring DK, an EA SPORTS™ FIFA content creator and Career Mode enthusiast. Whether you are a seasoned pro manager or just looking to step into the Career Mode setup for the first time let's get you started on your journey.

New Features

Firstly we must give you a brief overview of the new features added to Career Mode on EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23. This year's title adds playable highlights, transfer analysis, authentic managers, new menus and a whole lot more.

We will get into some of those features a bit later on but let's get you set up and ready to go.

Custom or Authentic Manager

So you have navigated to the Career Mode tab and selected to start a new career. It's time to make your first choice, do you want to create your own custom manager or use one of the new authentic managers newly added in FIFA 23?

Manage an Existing Club or Create a New One

Now you have your manager ready, let's find a club to manage. If you have selected an authentic manager you can remain at their current club or even make the choice to move them anywhere in the world! The other option here is to create your own club.

Create Your Club

Create Your Club allows you to do just that! From the badge, the name, the kits and the stadium you can make your own team and add them to any league in the world. Keep in mind you will need to replace a team in that current league to add your own club.

Career Mode Settings

With your Manager and Team selected it's time to adjust the career settings to your liking. You have plenty of options here including the ever powerful financial takeover. Want to give that league 2 team a billion dollars to set up for world domination, well you can. How you want to play career mode is totally your choice. Once you load into the season you will be greeted with a pre-season tournament invite. You can choose one of these competitions to play in or skip it all together. Pre-season games can be helpful though to build sharpness and match fitness for the upcoming season. Make your decision and get ready as day one of your new career mode is one step away.
