Welcome to FIFA Ultimate Team™! This is your place to build your ultimate dream team by playing online & offline games and objectives, earning FUT Coins, using the transfer market for Player Items, and solve puzzles that we call Squad Building Challenges to earn unique FUT Items!

My name is Leah Revelle and I am a Twitch Partnered Streamer and EA SPORTS FIFA content creator. I predominantly play FUT and I’m excited to share my knowledge with both new and experienced Ultimate Team players!

Chemistry

What is Chemistry in relation to football? Just like in real life on the pitch, the better your players know each other, the better they’ll play together as a team.

Build Out Your Team

Building out your first Ultimate Team is the most exciting part! There are a lot of different aspects to creating your team, but of course, the most important part is players! After completing some of the Foundational Objectives, you should already have some Player Items in your club, or coins to leverage on the Transfer Market! Follow these steps below to setup your team:

Let’s start by opening your Starter Packs! Every brand new account will have the opportunity to choose a nation, where some more options for items (Player Items, badges, kits, etc.) will be available.

Choose a formation that works for the items you want to use (for example, if you're using wingers, you'll want to use a formation that has either a LW/RW or LM/RM)!

What is Chemistry in relation to your FUT Team? Think of real life examples: A team that has built significant chemistry, whether it be playing together over a number of years, or playing for the same national team together, these players tend to play at a higher level and have a higher level of execution. Our goal as FIFA Ultimate Team™ players is to configure our squad to perform with the same ideas in mind. The goal with Chemistry is to get 33/33 Chemistry Points. This can be achieved by using players from the same nation, the same team or the same league. Bear in mind, Icons will contribute to Nation chemistry and Heroes will contribute to both Nation AND League chemistry.

Keep position modifiers in mind! New this year, FUT items can have several secondary positions based on real life scenarios! You'll want to make sure you're placing your items in the correct positions to try and maximise Chemistry.

Earn Rewards

Now that we’ve got a base team set up, we’ll have the opportunity to expand on this and earn more rewards to put towards our newly built team. These rewards (Player Items, chemistry styles, position modifiers, etc.) will be perfect to evolve our team. There are two great places to start:

Moments: New to FIFA 23, FUT Moments has us re-live and re-execute exciting moments in football history! There are several levels of execution, and the higher the level of execution, the more rewards we earn! You can earn a new in-game currency called Stars, and you are able to use those towards unique items that you can add to your Ultimate Team!

Foundational Objectives: These objectives are the perfect introduction to FUT, and the perfect start to your new team! Whether you're a new player or an experienced player, Foundational Objectives can help you kick start your FUT Team with coins, cards, and Season Progress. These objectives will teach you fundamentals of the game, and give you some insight on how you can accomplish various things (crossing, through-balls, etc) throughout your FIFA Ultimate Team cycle.
