Welcome to Pro Clubs

What’s happening my beautiful people! My name is Mike LaBelle, I’m a content creator & former professional EA SPORTS™ FIFA player. Also, a Pro Clubs enthusiast. This is easily one of my favourite game modes.

Pro Clubs is an online social mode in FIFA 23 that allows you to create a Virtual Pro player to play on the pitch with friends. You can create a club with your friends and play matches of up to 11 v 11 individual players in order to climb to the top of the Pro Clubs footballing pyramid. When you log into Pro Clubs for the first time, you will be asked to create a Pro.

Customise your Avatar

After choosing an avatar, players can completely customise body composition, facial structure, kit appearance, & animations. Once you’ve completed how you look, the next stage is looking into how you play with different play styles & positions. The position you choose, in addition to your height and weight customization choices will all impact your player attributes. Worth noting as you develop your Pro, it’s still possible to shift playstyles at later stages. Basically you aren’t locked into any of your early build decisions.

How do you improve your Pro?

In order to increase the attributes of your Pro, you need to play matches. Playing matches increases your player growth level and provides you with Skill Points to spend in the Attributes tree. When you first enter Pro Clubs, you’re given 20 Skill Points to kickstart your player journey. You can spend these Skill Points to improve the five different play styles for your Pro, and any Skill Points spent on one style are still available to spend on the remaining styles, so feel free to experiment. Remember, these can be adjusted at any stage.

Perks

Another key part of improving your Pro is making the most out of your selected Perks, which are additional special abilities that trigger when certain in-match conditions are met. There are four new Perks to use this year:

Attacking Perks

• Poacher - Increases your all-round finishing (including boosts to Volleys, Finishing, and Heading Accuracy) when inside the box.

Chance Creation Perks

• Light Passes - Increases your teammates’ ability to trap and control your passes.

Defensive Perks

• Interceptor - Improves your ability to intercept & disrupt your opposition's passes & shots when defending and in close proximity to the ball.
• Chase Down - Increases your pace when defending immediately following a loss of possession. The perk will deactivate after 40 in-game seconds if you have not regained possession.

Play Drop-In Matches or Create / Join a Club

Play drop-in matches to level up your Pro and meet other players, or join/create a club and fight for points with your club. Climb your way from Division 10 all the way to the heights of Football - Division 1. Although you can play and level up in drop-in matches on your own, in my opinion, Pro Clubs is at its best when you're teaming up with your friends. Become the manager and create a club with your friends to challenge other teams online and progress through the divisions together or join a club that’s already established and showcase your skills.

Shared Progression with VOLTA FOOTBALL

In FIFA 23, whether you're playing Pro Clubs or VOLTA FOOTBALL matches, you will be earning Seasonal Progression that allows you to unlock rewards. While some content is specific to VOLTA FOOTBALL, Pro Clubs players can earn new tattoos, boots, hair & facial hair styles each season. I always appreciate a crossover between game modes, and this adds a new dynamic to the mix each season.
