What’s happening my beautiful people! My name is Mike LaBelle, I’m a content creator & former professional EA SPORTS™ FIFA player. Today we’re talking about the Training Centre.

Whether you're completely new to the franchise or a veteran like me, the Training Centre offers you a variety of hands-on ways to learn how the game works, practice some basic skills, and improve your overall gameplay—all taking place in an offline environment. Regardless of your level, Training Centre has something for everyone.

You’ve Loaded up FIFA. Training Centre Pops Up. What’s Next?

Well first, you can work yourself through the basics when it comes to controls. FIFA 23 is a reaction-based game, like what happens on the actual pitch. To adjust quickly, you must understand the movements, have a mastery of the basics, and then look to build with gameplay mechanics. Let’s discuss some of those methods to maximize improvement.

Progression and Personalised Feedback

Personalised feedback lies at the core of the Training Centre experience. As you complete training objectives across matches in the Kick Off, Career Mode and Tournaments game modes, your performance will be tracked across key areas and progress you through the learning chapters. This data will lead to notes from your selected trainer on how to improve your gameplay depending on where the game determines you should focus your attention. Personalised feedback isn’t just available in the Training Centre hub but will actually give you live in-match feedback as you play. It’s a great system for players of all skill levels.

Mini Games

EA has laid out the Training Centre with challenges which you can complete via sequences that grow in difficulty & more importantly focus on the foundations of the title. I’ve found these mini games to be both educational while still having the interactive gamified element.

Video Tutorials

In the Training Centre you also have the option to watch examples & tutorial videos on how to improve in FIFA. Watching FIFA and studying the game before playing is extremely helpful with personal growth on the virtual pitch.
