Hello Mayors and city architects!

Let your creative skills shine with Design Challenges, our new gameplay mode where you design thematic cityscapes. Submit your best design, collect votes to win valuable prizes and vote for cities designed by other Mayors to help the best-looking cities win.

How can I play Design Challenges?

To participate in Design Challenges you need to have at least City Level 17. However, you can start voting for other Mayors' designs already at Level 9. Both designing and voting grant you different types of rewards! 

How do the Design Challenges work?

When you start a Design Challenge you will be given a predefined buildable area, where you can start designing your city according to the given theme. 

Once you meet the mandatory challenge requirements, you can submit your design for voting.  When you submit your design, you will be awarded with Blueprints. To earn more Blueprints you can complete bonus goals in addition to the mandatory requirements. Blueprints allow you to collect rewards like Simoleons, keys, and special reward buildings!
