LIDAR Circuits

In Bahrain, Miami, Melbourne, Suzuka and Imola, the entire track has been scanned and millions of data points have formed its recreation in-game, ensuring players feel every bump and change in elevation.

Reverse Tracks

Experience fan-favourite circuits in an all-new way. Race around Silverstone, Zandvoort and the Red Bull Ring in the unique challenge of reverse track layouts. Enjoy these once-familiar circuits in Grand Prix, Time Trial and multiplayer through to Driver Career and My Team, where they're available from your second career season onwards.

Updated Track Surface Shader

We’ve also improved the weather effects and lighting across all conditions, including reworked shadows. Tracks now accurately match the height, shape and size of nearby trees and foliage in real life.

Vegetation

Keep an eye out for the updated trees surrounding the tracks, including cherry blossom at Suzuka, all thanks to the LIDAR-scanning technology. Experience the most detailed circuits ever released for an F1® game.

Path Tracing

Track quality is better than ever thanks to new track and foliage shaders, so your favourite circuits look more realistic than ever. Path tracing is a brand-new, PC-exclusive pioneering render mode that takes racing immersion to the next level.
