Madden NFL 25 Madden Championship Series

Madden NFL 25 Championship Series (MCS) fans, we are thrilled to announce that the MCS will be returning for its 10th season! Coming off of our most successful season to date, we were looking for ways to improve without changing what made last year great. The result is a program that combines what our community wants to see most with the foundation that we have built over the past decade. 

With that, we’re excited to share that we’re bringing back a Regs Classic style tournament at the start of the year and including more competitors at our live broadcasts. Below you will find a breakdown of these additions along with all the other key information you need to own your chance at being Crowned the best MCS player in the world.

What's New? 

• The Kickoff Classic Tournament
  • This tournament takes place in Regs H2H
  • The prize pool for this tournament will be $100,000 USD  
  • Ladders for the Kickoff Classic take place 8/14 - 8/15 during the EA SPORTS Madden NFL 25 pre-order early access window. 
  • The top 8 competitors from online play will be flown out to compete on the Kickoff Classic broadcast. 
• More Competitors at Live Event Broadcasts. 
  • We heard the community feedback and are expanding the number of players advancing to our live, in-person events. This season we will be flying 8 competitors to compete in each MCS broadcast.  
  • The MCS postseason kicks off with 3 days of MCS Playoffs that will consist of the top 14 competitors. The finalists will then faceoff in the Madden Bowl, the championship game in the Madden calendar! This structure will mirror the real-world NFL’s playoffs format with the top 14 players from throughout the season earning a spot in the MCS playoffs. With first round byes and a bracket that mimics the NFC and AFC structure, the final 14 will battle for the shot at the Madden Bowl.
  • The first round of competition on MCS broadcasts will consist of simultaneous coverage of multiple games (Excludes Kickoff Challenge & Playoffs). 
• Return of the LCQ 
  • The last chance qualifier for the MCS Playoffs/Madden Bowl is back. 
  • This will consist of an online competition where one winner will earn the final spot in the MCS Playoffs giving them a chance to compete for their share of $1,000,000 USD.
• Increased 1st Place Prize at Each Monthly Challenge
  • We adjusted the prize pool for each MUT competition from Kickoff to Zero Chill. Players competing can now earn a top prize of $50,000 USD for winning 1 of the 4 monthly challenges.

Registration 

• Competitors can earn a MUT pack for their Ultimate Team for each ladder they play at least 1 ladder game in (Maximum of 6 packs for the season).

Rewards 

• We love rewarding our viewers and we intend to do just that. This will be done with the return of the MCS drops program that will allow viewers to earn exclusive content for their MUT teams by linking their EA and Twitch accounts and watching MCS content. 
• Be sure to follow our social channels for more information on the MCS drops program in the coming weeks. (MCS X Channel, MCS IG Channel, MCS YouTube Channel )
• As mentioned previously, competitors who play at least one ladder game will be rewarded a MUT pack for their Ultimate Team.
