Here are the top 10 takeaways from the presentation:

    1. It’s The BioWare Game of the Future

From the very beginning, the vision of Anthem was to create a cooperative multiplayer game as only BioWare could. A shared world where you will adventure online with friends, but also one where your individual choices can impact the story.

    2. You Won’t Have One Set of Armor—You’ll Have an Arsenal of Javelin Exosuits

The Javelin exosuits are amazing. Each looks and plays differently but has a unique charm that’s sure to find its own base of devoted pilots. And you won’t have to choose just one exosuit, you’ll be able to build your own personal arsenal of powerful Javelins and load them out with extensive customization to suit your own playstyle.

    3. You’ll Take Down Huge Enemies Together

Like the towering Titan from the trailer or the horrifying Swarm Tyrant revealed onstage, you and your friends will need grit, teamwork, and a whole lot of firepower to take down the biggest threats to humanity.

    4. This Is A Shared World

In the world of Anthem, the weather changes, the sun rises and sets, and even the landscape can shift and transform. It’s an incredible, dynamic environment and something everyone will experience together through the use of dedicated servers. The weather that you see in the sky will be the same weather that your friends see. When world-changing events happen, they’ll happen for everyone. These are the extra details that make for a truly realized world and a great multiplayer experience.

    5. Fort Tarsis is Your Base of Operations

While Anthem is at its heart a game of teamwork, each player will experience the main story individually. They’ll accomplish this by having their own space at Fort Tarsis, a walled city stronghold, from which to complete each phase of the single-player content. That way, every player has their own personal story nestled into the huge shared world, giving them the best of both single- and multiplayer experiences.

    6. A New BioWare Story Full of Awesome Characters
You'll take on missions from a cast of characters from every side of this dangerous world, meeting up with important factions and completing tasks to gain their trust. You’ll even have a crew of your own that stays with you in your Strider – a massive, mobile base of operations.

    7. You Can Play Solo…

While the story takes place in single-player, Expeditions are where you can challenge yourself – with your allies or on your own – to take on more difficult operations. No matter your progress, you’ll be able to find that next hurdle to push yourself past while growing stronger. And while teaming up is generally the smartest choice, you will be able to fight these battles on your own if you choose to – just don’t say we didn’t warn you.

    8. But It’s Easy to Play with Friends

Finding teammates is going to be as easy and intuitive as possible so that even the lone wolves among us will find the process worth their time and effort. Anthem is designed to make the rewards for grouping up clear and meaningful, so that players will see teamplay as the obvious choice.

    9. Deep Customization and Personalization

We’ve got an incredible roadmap full of content planned, designed to make your Javelins feel as customizable to you and your playstyle as possible. We want players to have the ability to express themselves through how their Javelins move and fight. We can’t wait until we can show off more of the incredible customization options possible for your Javelin exosuits, but for now we just wanted to share some of the larger design decisions that will shape your journey in Anthem.

    10. No Loot Boxes, No Pay-to-win

It’s just that simple. The only items available for purchase in Anthem will be cosmetic in nature, with no impact on gameplay, and you’ll see exactly what you’re getting before you buy it.

We’ll have more gameplay details coming soon. We’re excited to share more about Anthem, the Javelins, and the world you’ll explore.
