Apex Legends™: Community Art Spotlight

April 23, 2025

Apex Community Spotlight for Art featuring clairepngart, Daralamalice, mizu, and voidwrth.

You know we couldn’t have a series of spotlights without a selection of artists. The Apex Legends community has a wealth of incredibly talented artists that light up the social feeds with each of their posts. While it was difficult to narrow it down to four, we love to showcase community art in various ways across events like ALGS, @PlayApex socials, and more.

CLAIREPNGART

Illustrator, character designer, and concept artist are just a few of the qualifiers of clairepngart. This accomplished Filipino artist has given a plethora of Legends the opportunity to shine in their artistic style, which has a wide range itself. Their work has been featured both in and out of the game with a weapon skin in our fifth anniversary event, on @PlayApex socials, and at ALGS Los Angeles in 2024.

Favorite Piece: “The Lifeline and Mirage one because I was so excited when Akimbo was announced and Lifeline and Mirage were my first ever mains!”

Fun Fact: "I've been drawing since 5th grade!”

DARALAMALICE

Known as the Simulacrum Queen, you likely need no introduction to Dara La Malice if you’ve been playing Apex Legends for more than a few minutes. Her artwork frequently fills social feeds including posts from @PlayApex accounts, with a number of their pieces dedicated to a favorite murderous robot in the Outlands. And if you can’t get enough out of the games, you can also find some of Dara’s handiwork in-game with an Epic Banner Frame from our fifth anniversary event.

Favorite Piece: “The one where Revenant and Ash (and the rat) sleep on a prototype induction charging bed for simulacrums in one of their secret den. We know that Ash recharges on an articulated arm dock, and in my headcanon, Revenant hates those things because they're cold, painful, and make him feel like a roomba. So Ash developed a more comfortable (and less dehumanizing) solution.”

Fun Fact: “I started drawing consistently five years ago, and I literally learned everything I know from drawing Revenant and Ash again and again. Before that, I was in the French Air Force.”

MIZU

Mizu is a Japanese artist in the Apex Legends community and has had their work featured at ALGS in the past. Whether scrolling through a feed or walking by a Fan Art wall, their pieces are immediately recognized due to their unique style and use of bright colors. With clean linework and great attention to detail, it’s clear why Mizu has been such a staple of communities for Apex Legends and other fandoms.

Favorite Piece: “I love all the Legends very much! I also like to pay attention to the background of each character.”

Fun Fact: “My name is Mizu, and I have been playing Apex since Season 3 with fun and excitement. Each game has its own story, and I express my feelings and fun feelings as pictures and cartoons.”

VOIDWRTH

Voidwrth is another name that fans of Apex Legends Fan Art may recognize, especially those in the Miraith community. A number of her pieces feature this dynamic duo either together or separately. You can find more of her artwork on social media and in a few community-made zines.

Favorite Piece: “For the sixth anniversary fanzine project, I drew inspiration from the 'Dance Encounter' transition in the game and decided to illustrate my favourite characters Wraith, Mirage, and Pathfinder. These characters mean a lot to me, and I loved the story of their first meeting - before they became the legendary squad shown in Apex’s first trailer!”

Fun Fact: “My husband and I named our Australian Cattle Dog ‘Biff’ after Fuse's voiceline, ‘here comes the biff!’”
