Hello ALGS Fans,
Today we’re announcing that we’re bringing the Apex Legends Global Series Year 2 Championship to the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, on July 7-10, 2022. Starting today, purchase your tickets to be part of the live audience and experience the largest competition in ALGS history!
Last month, we returned to in-person competition with the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs in Stockholm, after more than two years without an in-person event. Now, we’re thrilled to welcome spectators back into the fold as teams from each of the ALGS’ five regions compete to determine the best team in the world and crown a global champion.
ALGS YEAR 2 CHAMPIONSHIP SPECTATOR TICKETS FAQ
Spectator tickets for the Apex Legends Global Series Year 2 Championship are now available, and the ALGS community will be able to come together to cheer on their favorite teams live at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC. The 700,000-square-foot space will accommodate thousands of fans from around the world for the largest ALGS competition to date.

How much do tickets cost; are they single-day tickets, or good for the entire weekend?
Single-day tickets and 4-day tickets (good for all days of the event) are available, and tickets start at $15.
Ticket prices (include sales tax):
- $15 for (1) day ticket, General Admission
- $25 for (1) day ticket, Premium GA
- $35 for (4) day ticket, General Admission
- $50 for (4) day ticket, Premium GA
Are seat numbers assigned or first-come, first-served?
Tickets are available in General Admission or Premium GA (preferred view) sections. Within these sections, seats are not assigned.

The closest airport is the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), approximately a 15-minute drive to PNC Arena.
Health Policy Information
Proof of a negative test or COVID-19 vaccination is required to attend this event, and medical grade mask (i.e. KN95, N95, surgical, etc.) will be required inside the venue. In the best interest of fans and staff, we will continue to monitor local COVID-19 trends and meet or exceed protocols mandated by local governments.
ALGS YEAR 2 CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT & TEAMS
The Championship begins on Thursday, July 7th, with a Group Stage spread over the first two days of competition. Teams will be split into four groups of ten teams. Each group will play a six-match series against every other group in the Group Stage.
On Friday, July 8th, after the Group Stage concludes, every team will be assigned a starting position in the Bracket Stage’s double-elimination bracket based on their Group Stage performance.
After playing through the double-elimination bracket on Friday and Saturday, the top 20 teams will advance to the Finals.
The Finals will take place on Sunday, July 10th, and consist of a single Match Point series to determine the ALGS Year 2 Champion.

ALGS Fans will be able to watch their favorite teams compete in-person against the very best ALGS teams across four action-packed competition days from inside the PNC Arena or online from all around the world on Twitch and YouTube

ALGS YEAR 2 CHAMPIONSHIP PRIZES
The ALGS Year 2 Championship will crown a global champion for the entire year of ALGS competition that included thousands of teams and featured players from more than 75 different countries and territories competing in the Challenger Circuit and our inaugural Pro League.
In addition to the title of ALGS Year 2 Champion, Championship teams are competing for their share of a USD $2,000,000 prize pool!
Each of the prizes listed below, with the exception of the Apex Predator prize, will be distributed equally among the participating competitors of the winning teams in accordance with the ALGS Official Rules and all amounts are in USD.
