Year 3 Split 2 Playoffs: Format, Schedule and Venue Information

The details are finalized! We’re excited to share that the Apex Legends Global Series Split 2 Playoffs will be returning to the Copper Box Arena on July 13-16, 2023. This time around, we’re bringing all competition to the Main Stage, meaning you’ll get to watch all your favorite team’s matches throughout the 4-day tournament. We’re also excited to bring even more interactive fan experiences to the Copper Box concourse, including Meet & Greets, Giveaways, and more.
Tickets for this event will go on sale Monday, May 15th at 8:00 AM PDT on Eventbrite. As always, our goal is to continuously improve the live event experience for our Players and Fans, and we truly appreciate all the feedback from the community. We’re looking forward to making Split 2 even better than the last.

Tickets for this event will be available for purchase starting May 15, 2023 at 8:00 AM PDT.
Where can I purchase tickets to the Split 2 Playoffs?
Tickets will be available online via Eventbrite.
How much do tickets cost; are they single-day tickets, or good for the entire weekend?
Single-day and 4-day tickets (good for all event days) are available. Visit Eventbrite for pricing and details.
Is seating assigned or GA?
Tickets are General Admission; seats are not assigned.
Where is the Copper Box Arena?

Are there any age restrictions for this event?
Participants must be 16 years of age or older to attend the event without a guardian. Please note that valid proof of age may be requested upon entry.
Which teams will be competing at the Split 2 Playoffs?
COMPETITION FORMAT & SCHEDULE
On July 13th and 14th, we’ll get to see 40 of the world’s best Apex Legends teams start in the Group Stage where teams are split into four groups of ten teams to play a six-match series against every other group.
On Saturday, July 15th, the Bracket Stage begins and teams are seeded into the double-elimination bracket based on their Group Stage performance.
After playing through the double-elimination bracket on Saturday, the top 20 teams will advance to the Match Point Finals on Sunday, July 16th.
The Finals consist of a single Match Point format series to determine the Split 2 Playoffs Champion.
All competition days will be streamed live from the Copper Box Arena on the ALGS Twitch and YouTube channels.

PRIZING
Split 2 Playoffs teams are competing for their share of the $1,000,000 USD prize pool and valuable Playoff Points to help them qualify for the upcoming ALGS Year 3 Championship.
The prize money will be distributed amongst the top 20 teams. For more information on the distribution of Playoff Points, please see the ALGS Official Rules.

LAST-CHANCE QUALIFIERS
Following the Split 2 Playoffs, the ALGS is right back at it with the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) which will take place from July 21-23, 2023.
This online tournament pits each of the Pro League teams who haven’t qualified for the Year 3 Championship against the top teams from each region’s Split 2 Challenger Circuit to determine who will claim the last spots at the Championship. This competition will also play a part in determining Year 4 Split 1 Pro League qualification.
In NA & EMEA, the LCQ Finals will be broadcast live on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from the official ALGS Twitch and YouTube channels in English.
