Apex Legends Currency
You may be asking yourself, what are all of these crafting materials and legend tokens I keep seeing in-game? Well Legend, you’ve come to the right place. Here is all you need to know about the different currencies in Apex Legends!
Crafting Metals
Used for regular trading by the majority of people around the Outlands, Crafting Metals can be found in Apex Packs, through completing quests and events, and in the Battle Pass. You can use them to purchase cosmetic items such as Legend and Weapon Skins, Banner Frames and Trackers, Holosprays and Finishers, and more.
Legend Tokens
Only obtained through leveling up, Legend Tokens are key to mastering the Apex Games. These can be used to reroll daily challenges, purchase Legend and Weapon Skin Recolors, and permanently unlock Legends for you to play!
Apex Coins
These can only be acquired through purchasing with real currency or via the Battle Pass. Apex Coins can be used to purchase Apex Packs, cosmetics in any of the Stores, and limited-time items during our events!
Heirloom Shards
If you have some Heirloom Shards hidden in your inventory then you’re living lavishly in the Outlands. Heirloom Shards can be found only in Apex Packs or during specific Collection Events and are used to purchase Mythic Items like Legend’s Heirlooms and Prestige Skins.
