Fans of Operation Campaigns, rejoice – another epic challenge is now available in Battlefield™ 1. Up until February 11, you can fight it out across multiple maps in the campaign, dubbed Beginning of the End.
The campaign contains two Operations from the base game and Battlefield 1 They Shall Not Pass: Kaiserschlacht and Beyond the Marne. This means you’ll be attacking or defending sectors on four maps: St. Quentin Scar, Amiens, Soissons, and Rupture. Head to the Maps Page if you want to explore all the fighting grounds of Battlefield 1.

If you’re unsure about what the game mode entails, Operation Campaigns expands on Operations mode, where attackers try to gain ground and push the defending team back by securing sectors and control points. Operation Campaigns strings several Operations together, making for an even more varied and intense experience. Get up to speed about Operation Campaigns in this article.
A pulse-pounding Operation Campaign is a reward in itself, but there are other perks when completing them – like Operations Battlepacks. Your end-of-round score in each Operation will be applied toward the progress of unlocking an Operation Battlepack, which may contain puzzle pieces for unique melee weapons that regular Battlepacks don’t enclose. Weapon Skins and Vehicle Skins of the Distinguished and Legendary rarity levels are also more commonly found in Operations Battlepacks, compared with Standard Battlepacks.
Good luck in your battles on Beginning of the End. Whether you’re attacking or defending – remember to play the objective and good things will come your way.
