The Battlefield 1 Open Beta is Now Available
The Battlefield 1 Beta is over. Thank you for your interest. If you played the Beta, please feel free to provide feedback in our forums.
It's time to deploy. The Battlefield 1 Open Beta† is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Origin for PC. If you want some intel before heading into battle, head over to our Battlefield 1 Beta Tips page.
There’s more than just war waiting for you in the Beta. If you want a Battlefield 1 Beta Dog Tag* in Battlefield 1 when it comes out on October 21, you'll need to complete an in-game mission. Want it? Well, you'll need to make sure to:
- Rank up to level 15
- Play on four different days
You'll be battling in the Sinai Desert map, a scorching hot battlefield located just East of El-Jifar. This is your opportunity to try out thrilling horse charges over sand dunes, skirmishes in the narrow streets of the village of Bir el Mazar, and dogfights above the majestic cliffs. When all hope is lost, reinforcements will arrive in the shape of a powerful Behemoth: a deadly Armored Train charging through the desert sands.
There are two modes to try out:
- Conquest. An all-time fan favorite of Battlefield players, Conquest is a large-scale game mode with up to 64 players fighting for the control of key objectives. With large armies on foot or behind the wheel and the addition of fearsome Behemoths, Conquest brings together all the elements of the signature Battlefield All-Out War.
- Rush. In this 24-player mode, the Attacking force must find and destroy the Defending force's Telegraph Posts, which can be used to call in artillery strikes. The Defenders can deny the Attackers their mission by disarming explosives they plant on the telegraph positions. Should the Telegraph Posts be destroyed, the Defenders must fall back to the next sector and protect the Telegraph Posts there.
During this time, we also invite you to check out the web experience of the new Battlefield Career Page, which is also being tested during the Battlefield 1 Open Beta. This experience will allow you to log in and track your in-game progress and view a wide variety of stats while you’re not in the game. If you have any feedback, head over to the Battlefield Forums.
Battlefield 1 will release on October 21, or October 18 if you pre-order the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition**. And don’t forget, there are going to be Play First trials for EA Access and Origin Access members that will let you start playing on October 13***.
