New Unit Showcase - Shade

This week we raise the bar for every forthcoming fight by introducing the latest addition to the Nod Faction, the Epic Aircraft Unit - Shade. Read on for tips, tricks, and counters to master this new unit.

Created after years of Black Hand Research, Shade is the next step in the evolution of aircrafts. The anti-vehicle is a hybrid unit as it utilizes a lethal combination of Stealth Tank’s covert technology and the Phantom’s EMP capabilities. The armament is a must-have in battle as it annihilates all War Factory units across factions and moves at the fastest speed.

• Unlocks at Player Level: 43

Deployment Tips:

The Shade is a vertical take-off landing (VTOL) aircraft and carries a payload on its center-back, just like the Inferno. This structure ensures a smooth paneling, thus demonstrating the vehicle’s stealth and high speed. In its usual attack, it fires a stream of small energy blasts whereas the ‘EMP detonation’ releases a sparking effect in all adjacent hexes, thus reducing the attacking speed of enemy units.
