St. Quentin Scar is one of the maps that made its debut with the launch of Battlefield™ 1 and portrays the German army throwing everything they have to try to break through the British lines.

Where and when is the map set?

St. Quentin Scar takes place in 1918 within the French countryside. The action centers around the pristine village of Travecy, which has been untouched by the war – until now. You’ll fight in towns, hellish trenches, and among the rubble of a destroyed abbey on this diverse map.

What makes St. Quentin Scar an entertaining map to play?

This is a map of contrasts, especially on larger game modes like Conquest. In one moment, you’ll be doing battle in close quarters around key points like Butcher’s Alley and Hotel de Ville. In the other, the fight has moved to a completely different terrain like open roads or trenches. Mixing up the flavor of the map further, rain might start pouring down in the middle of your battles, thanks to the dynamic weather system. 

Are there any particular classes, weapons, or vehicles I should try on St. Quentin Scar?

There are countless opportunities and strategies available on St. Quentin Scar no matter your choice of class, arsenal, etc. But here’s one idea: try deploying as the Scout class and snipe from elevated ground towards the lower sections in the middle of the map. Find your favorite spot, such as one of the windmills, and steady your aim – just watch your back for enemies keen on melee kills.
