The Beta Was Booming

From the sheer number of players that joined the Battlefield Hardline beta (7 million!) to the amount of cash both earned and stolen, you guys rocked the beta. Judging by the results, trading paint in Hotwire proved to be the fan favorite as more cars were stolen and taken down versus blowing open vaults in Heist.

The good guys aka the cops also reigned supreme, winning more rounds in all the matches combined than the robbers. But no matter which side of the law, the majority of you preferred the Operator class. Guess that means you guys enjoy the default class with the ARs, which is the most versatile weapon, and the ability to heal yourself and your teammates. After all, Battlefield is all about teamplay.

Whatever the stat, you guys impressed us in more ways than one and you may think so too. Check out what you were able to accomplish in the short time with the beta.

The Thrill of the Chase in Hotwire

Mobile capture points bring a whole new dimension to the Battlefield in what many are saying may be what Rush was to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and what Conquest was to Battlefield 1942. Get to know the high speeds of Hotwire.

Bringing a Knife to a Gun Fight

Whether it was a machete, sledgehammer or baseball bat, the new melee weapons and takedowns in Battlefield Hardline had players buzzing. Brutal, over the top animations made every kill more satisfying. And remember, you can show some mercy and gain some intel with interrogation.

Working Together to Pull off (or Stop) The Big Score

There’s no “I” in team…or money. Heist is another new mode in Battlefield Hardline, pitting teams against each other in a classic cops vs. robbers scenario. Work together or die alone. Lone wolfs need not apply.

Taking a Ride Out to the Desert

Dust Bowl is one of the larger maps in the game, a great mix of wide open space, gorgeous blue skies and enough nooks and crannies to make 64-player Conquest battles* a must-have on any playlist.

Hey Mr DJ, Turn the Radio Up

Blockbuster action movies all have killer soundtracks. Your life should have a soundtrack. Why not your favorite game?
