How The Sims Is Celebrating on Console
Sales, a new Stuff Pack, a hot tub, and more!
As we continue our twentieth birthday festivities, we’re pleased to announce a few console-specific celebrations for our Xbox One and PlayStation®4 players. Read on to learn how you can join the party!
PlayStation 4
We have some exciting news to kick things off: The Sims™ 4 is part of the PlayStation®Plus program this February! So what exactly does that mean?
From February 4 to March 3, PlayStation Plus members will be able to download The Sims 4 Standard Edition for free. It’s the perfect time to jump into the game and learn why so many people love playing with life. In addition, we’re also celebrating with sales on select packs in the PlayStation Store through March 4. You can save up to 50%* on many of our Expansion Packs, Game Packs, and Stuff Packs to expand your gameplay opportunities!

Xbox One
Xbox One players, we didn’t forget about you! Don’t forget to check out our birthday sale from February 4 to February 10 in the Microsoft Store. Select packs will be up to 50%* off so you can enjoy even more ways to play with life.
Speaking of more ways to play with life, did you know you can also use your keyboard and mouse when designing and playing The Sims 4 on your Xbox One? Simply connect your mouse and keyboard of choice, and away you go! If you own the Razer Turret keyboard, which supports Xbox Dynamic Lighting, the lighting of the keyboard and mouse even changes depending on in-game events like your Sim’s mood. Need to adjust the mouse sensitivity or switch to left-handed play? Go to Xbox One Settings, find the Kinect & Devices submenu, and select Mouse.
Cross-Platform
Players of The Sims 4 may also know of a few other exciting developments that occurred this week, but for those of you who are new to the game, you’ve joined us during our birthday party! On February 4, The Sims officially turned twenty, and players on every platform received the free in-game 20th Birthday Hot Tub** as a gift. Your Sims can use it while they chat it up, skinny dip, and even WooHoo, as is only appropriate for a historically fan-favorite item.
February 4 also marked the release date of The Sims 4 Tiny Living Stuff Pack on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles! Our newest pack introduces a bevy of new features like the Tiny Home Residential lot, which encourages you to build your dream house in under 100 tiles. Taking up this challenge rewards you with plenty of bonuses for your relationships, skill gains, and even plant growth! Plus, your Sims will love the new CAS and Build/Buy items inspired by the cozy-chic aesthetic of living small. Just be careful with that space-saving murphy bed….
Don’t forget to upload your favorite builds in the new cross-platform Gallery. It went live only a few weeks ago, giving players like yourself the opportunity to share and download all the best community content.
Encourage your friends to get in on all of the fun this February, and don’t forget to buy a little something for yourself during our sale on packs!
