WHAT DOES DUAL ENTITLEMENT MEAN?

Dual Entitlement means you can upgrade your copy of the EA SPORTS FC™ 24 from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S at no additional cost.

Simply put, it gives you access to the game on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, or Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

WHEN DOES EA SPORTS FC™ 24 LAUNCH?

EA SPORTS FC™ 24 launches worldwide on September 29, 2023. Pre-ordering the EA SPORTS FC™ 24 Ultimate Edition gives you up to seven days’ early access which will enable you to play from September 22, 2023**.

WHAT NEW FEATURES ARE AVAILABLE IN EA SPORTS FC™ 24 ON PLAYSTATION 5 AND XBOX SERIES X|S?

EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S features cutting-edge HyperMotionV technology which captures the game as it’s truly played, using volumetric data from more than 180 professional men’s and women’s football matches to ensure player movements in-game accurately reflect real-world action on the pitch.

DOES EVERYONE GET DUAL ENTITLEMENT WITH THE PURCHASE OF EA SPORTS FC™ 24?

Dual Entitlement is available with the purchase of the EA SPORTS FC™ 24—both Ultimate Edition and Standard Edition—at digital and physical stores.

HOW DO I MAKE SURE I BENEFIT FROM DUAL ENTITLEMENT ON MY PLAYSTATION 5 OR XBOX SERIES X|S?

If you buy EA SPORTS FC™ 24 and start playing on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’ll be able to upgrade your copy once you have the corresponding next generation console (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S) by downloading it to your new console.

WHAT IF I UPGRADE FROM PLAYSTATION 4 TO XBOX SERIES X|S, OR XBOX ONE TO PLAYSTATION 5?

The Dual Entitlement upgrade is only available when you upgrade from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S.

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE EA SPORTS FC™ 24 DIGITALLY TO BENEFIT FROM DUAL ENTITLEMENT?

No, you can purchase EA SPORTS FC™ 24 at digital and physical stores to take advantage of the Dual Entitlement offer. Be aware though that physical stores also sell PS5-only packaged products which will be playable only on a PlayStation 5 console.

ONCE I UPGRADE CAN I GO BACK TO PLAYSTATION 4 OR XBOX ONE?

Yes, you’ll be able to play EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One after taking advantage of the Dual Entitlement offer.

CAN I PLAY THE PLAYSTATION 4 VERSION OF EA SPORTS FC™ 24 ON MY PLAYSTATION 5, OR THE XBOX ONE VERSION ON MY XBOX SERIES X|S

Yes, you can download and play the PlayStation 4 version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on your PlayStation 5, and the Xbox One version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on your Xbox Series X|S.

DOES DUAL ENTITLEMENT GIVE ME ACCESS TO BOTH THE PLAYSTATION 4 AND PLAYSTATION 5 VERSIONS OF EA SPORTS FC™ 24, OR BOTH THE XBOX ONE AND XBOX SERIES X|S VERSIONS OF EA SPORTS FC™ 24?

Yes, with Dual Entitlement you’ll be able to access and play both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on your PlayStation 5, or both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on your Xbox Series X|S.

You can switch back and forth between each version of the game, providing they are both installed on your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.

DOES MY PROGRESS IN EA SPORTS FC™ 24 CARRY OVER FROM PLAYSTATION 4 TO PLAYSTATION 5, OR XBOX ONE TO XBOX SERIES X|S?

All progress you make or content you acquire within EA SPORTS FC™ 24 Ultimate Team (including players, items, coins, FC Points, match record, and leaderboard placement), as well as all progression in VOLTA FOOTBALL will transfer from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 and back, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S and back. Progress within all other modes including Online Seasons, Co-Op Seasons, Manager and Player Career, Clubs, etc. will be specific to the console you are playing on and won’t transfer between consoles.

WILL MY PROGRESS TRANSFER IF I GO FROM PLAYSTATION 4 TO XBOX SERIES X|S, OR XBOX ONE TO PLAYSTATION 5?

No, your progress in VOLTA FOOTBALL and EA SPORTS FC™ 24 Ultimate Team will only transfer from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S.

WILL PLAYSTATION 5 PLAYERS BE ABLE TO MATCH UP AND PLAY AGAINST PLAYSTATION 4 PLAYERS? WHAT ABOUT XBOX SERIES X|S PLAYERS WITH XBOX ONE?

You will be able to match up with and against other players based on the version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 that you are playing†.

If you are playing the PlayStation 4 version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 you will be able to match up and play with and against other players who are also playing on that generation version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24, regardless of whether they are playing on their PlayStation 4,  PlayStation 5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X|S. The same is true for the Xbox One version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24, where you will be able to match up and play with and against other players who are playing the same generation version on either their Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, or PlayStation 5.

If you are playing the PlayStation 5 version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24, you will only be able to match up with and play against other players who are playing that generation version, regardless of whether they’re playing on their PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. The same is true for the Xbox Series X|S version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24, where only players playing the current-gen version on Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5 will be able to play with or against each other.

WILL MY PRE-ORDER CONTENT FROM PLAYSTATION 4 OR XBOX ONE CARRY OVER TO PLAYSTATION 5 OR XBOX SERIES X|S?

If you redeemed pre-order content in EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on PlayStation 4 you will continue to be able to receive and access that content, when using the same account, in EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on PlayStation 5. If you pre-ordered EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on PlayStation 4, but waited to play the game first on PlayStation 5, you will still receive the content on the applicable account.

If you redeemed pre-order content in EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on Xbox One, you will continue to be able to receive and access that content, when using the same account, in EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on Xbox Series X|S.
