The road to glory in the CONMEBOL eLibertadores begins with two intense rounds of Qualifiers, which will determine the top players advancing to the Finals in May 2025.
In addition to their share of the six-figure prize pool, the finalists will compete for two coveted spots in the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship, making the stakes higher than ever.
Tournament structure
Qualifier Phase I
Qualifier Phase I of the CONMEBOL eLibertadores kicks off on January 18th and 19th, featuring a single-elimination bracket that will narrow the field down to the top 32 players, who will advance to Qualifier Phase II.
It’s important to note that competitors who have already secured direct entry into Qualifier Phase II are not eligible to participate in this initial phase. The stakes are high, and the competition promises to be fierce as players vie for their spot in the next round.
Qualifier Phase II
Qualifier Phase II of the CONMEBOL eLibertadores is set to take place on February 15th and 16th, beginning with a Swiss format group stage. This stage will include:
Top finishers from Qualifier Phase I,
The Top 256 players from October’s EA SPORTS FC Pro Open Ladder,
Invited players contracted to South American football clubs affiliated with CONMEBOL.
After the group stage, the competition will shift to a double-elimination knockout bracket, where the stakes will be at their highest as players battle for a spot in the top 16 and their chance to compete in the Finals. The road to the eLibertadores crown is heating up!
Finals
The CONMEBOL eLibertadores 25 season will culminate in May, where the 16 top players who advanced from Qualifier Phase II will compete in the grand finale, which will be an in-person event, broadcast live on the EA SPORTS FC PRO Twitch and YouTube.
