The FC Pro Open provides the opportunity for more players than ever before to join the competitive action. After a successful season last time around, FC24 is ready to take off, and the FC Pro Open is the first piece of silverware at stake.
Many cash prizes can be earned along the way with deeper runs throughout the competition, and it’s delivered in a new and evolutionary format that takes esports in FC24 to the next level.
From new stars being born across the FC24 universe to seasoned giants of the professional game, tens of thousands of players have entered the competition. Only eight will make it to the FC Pro Open Finals on February 3 2024 to enter the single elimination championship bracket and find the FC Pro Open Champion.
Here’s what you need to know about the FC Pro Open competition structure:
How does the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier work?
The FC Pro Open Global Qualifier event is the final step before players can confirm their place at the FC Pro Open. All 52 players from the Regional Qualifiers joined the 12 invited FC24 stars to create a 64-player event at The Troubadour in London, with all receiving a prize of $2,500 for getting to this stage.

The event that began on November 10th is held across three days, but it will be the end of the line for half the participants after five rounds of Swiss play, with only 32 places up for grabs on day two.
Four groups of eight will be constructed from the final 32 players, who will be competing for 16 available places at the FC Pro Open. Brackets A and B will take to the stage on Saturday, while Brackets C and D are up on Sunday, and it’s the top four players from each group at the end of play who will be on their way to the FC Pro Open.
That 16 will join four players who have already qualified.
The four automatic qualifiers at the FC Pro Open
Four players were awarded automatic qualification to the FC Pro Open following their performances in the FIFAe World Cup 2023 over the summer.
Team Gullit’s ManuBachoore secured the first spot after he won the competition in a nail-biting penalty shootout against FUTWIZ's Mark11, and they will also be joined by the two semi-finalists from the tournament – AFC Ajax star PHzin and Team Exeed’s Obrun.
All four players find out who will compete against them in the FC Pro Open when the Global Qualifiers conclude on November 12, and the official list of 20 competitors is confirmed.
The FC Pro Open
The FC Pro Open begins with a group stage, with four groups of five (A-D) formed from 20 participants.
All matches will take place in London, which hosts eight weeks of FC24 live competitive action split between two four-week spells either side of the festive season. The first gameweek is scheduled for November 27, and that sees the five competitors from Group A kick off the competition.
Each group will feature across two gameweeks, and it’s by the end of play on December 18 when the halfway stage of the event is reached. Play resumes on January 8, with the spotlight back on Group A, before the competition concludes with Group D on January 29.
The top two players from each group at the end of this phase will create the final eight who advance to the FC Pro Open Finals.

The FC Pro Open Finals
After hundreds of timed finishes, trivelas, skill moves, and hours of FC24 play at the highest level, only eight players will remain from the tens of thousands that began their journey on October 1.
The FC Pro Open Finals will take place on February 3 to conclude the event, with a straight knockout phase determining the first-ever FC Pro Open Champion.
All competitors who win their first knockout stage match to make the final four will also secure automatic qualification to next year’s FC Pro Open.
