The FC Pro Open Finals delivered on expectations, as the FC community watched 12 of the world’s elite EA SPORTS FC™ players battle it out for a share of the massive $532,000 prize pool, a coveted spot in this season’s FC Pro Open World Championship, and the ultimate title of FC Pro Open champion.

Victorious Vejrgang
RBLZ Gaming standout Anders Vejrgang further cemented his status as the world’s best EA SPORTS FC player with a stunning FC Pro Open Finals victory, securing his third major title in the past 12 months.
Vejrgang was in unstoppable form throughout the competition, dismantling current world number one AbuMakkah 6-2, overcoming former eLigue 1 2022 champion LJR Peixoto 7-4, and edging past eSerie A 2022 champion Obrun 5-4 to claim the trophy that eluded him last season.
With the Virtual Bundesliga up next, Vejrgang will be looking to add yet another piece of silverware to his growing collection.
So close, yet so far
Despite falling short against Vejrgang in the FC Pro Open Finals, Exeed’s Obrun delivered a remarkable campaign in this year’s tournament.
From battling through the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier to facing Vejrgang in the final, Obrun competed at every stage of the competition, showcasing his consistency and resilience. With an impressive record of 15 wins, 3 draws, and just 2 losses, he proved himself as one of the world’s elite players—and a strong contender for future titles.
Regroup
This year’s FC Pro Open Finals featured an incredible pool of talent, yet some of the biggest names were unable to make it through to the final stage. Players such as eChampions League 2023 winner Emre Yilmaz, eChampions League 2022 winner Nicolas99fc, and KPN eDivisie 2024 champion Levi de Weerd all suffered early exits.
