eLigue 1 Uber Eats is back for the eighth edition this time around, as the best players in France converge with hopes of lifting the 2024 title.
FC Lorient are the current champions after they defended the eLigue 1 Uber Eats crown last season for the second year in a row, having now won the last three eLigue 1 Uber Eats Championships.
As French esports star Fouma looks to win his fourth straight French title for Les Merlus, 12 other teams are also set to take part, with ESTAC Troyes, AJ Auxerre, and Clermont Foot 63 all back for their second campaign after they made their eLigue 1 Uber Eats debuts in 2023.
The top two sides that make the eLigue 1 Uber Eats Grand final in April will also book their places to the FC Pro World Championship, but there are also four seats available for sides to qualify into the eChampions League Group Stages.
Here’s everything you need to know about this season’s competition.
Who is taking part?
More teams than ever before took part in the eLigue 1 Uber Eats last year, with ESTAC Troyes, AJ Auxerre, and Clermont Foot 63 all participating for the first time, and that saw 13 teams competing in the Regular Season phase.
All 13 are back for FC24, and you can get to see the most reputable sides from the real-world Ligue 1 Uber Eats represented with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique de Marseille, and AS Monaco all involved.
All esports sides involved must have a minimum of two professional FC24 players representing them, with all matches set to take place exclusively on PlayStation 5.

How does it work?
Regular Season
eLigue 1 Uber Eats action kicks off in January 2024 and begins with the Regular Season phase. The Regular Season involves all 13 teams, with the first matches taking place on January 9.
League clashes will be played over 13 Match Days across three months, with Match Day 13 concluding the Regular Season phase on April 2.
Each of the 13 teams will play against each other once in a Best of Three (Bo3 format), in which the winning team will earn three points if they win the BO3 in 2 matches (2-0), two points if they require the third match (2-1), while the losing team will not earn any points. A winner will be found in each game, with no draws possible.
Earning a top six place in the league table by the end of the season will see teams book their spot into The Playoffs where the quarter-finals will take place, though the top two sides from the eLigue 1 Uber Eats Regular Season will earn a bye in this round and automatic spot in the semi-finals.
The Playoffs
Quarter-finals
The Playoffs are set to begin after the Regular season concludes on April 3. This is where teams can begin to pave their way toward the eLigue 1 Uber Eats trophy, as well as qualification spots in the eChampions League and FC Pro World Championship.
The team that finished 3rd in the Regular season will go up against the team that finished 6th in the first of two quarter-finals, with 4th vs 5th as the second quarter-finals match. These ties are played in a Best of Seven (Bo7) format, in which teams must earn four wins against their opponent to advance.
Semi finals
The two winners of the quarter-finals will then advance to the semi-finals, where they will take on the 1st and 2nd seeds from the Regular season in the same Bo7 format.
All four teams will have also guaranteed themselves a share of the €60,000 prize-pool by making it this far, but now just one match will sit between them a Grand final appearance and qualification to the eChampions League Group stage, where four qualification spots are available.
Grand final
The eLigue 1 Uber Eats Grand final is set to take place on 29th April 2024 and sees the two final teams battle for the eLigue 1 Uber Eats trophy, two tickets to the FC Pro World Championship, and lion’s share of the competition prize pool.

1st place: €30,000
2nd place: €15,000
3rd and 4th place: €7,500
The match, which will be broadcasted live every Tuesday and Wednesday at 5.30 UTC on Twitch from the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats channel, will maintain the same Bo7 format as seen in the previous rounds, with four wins required to be crowned the eLigue 1 Uber Eats champion.
FC Lorient has been the most successful side recently, having won the last three eLigue 1 Uber Eats trophies, but with competition on FC24 more fierce than ever, this could see this year’s tournament as one of the toughest yet as the French champions look to defend their title for the third time.
