Day 2 of the eChampions League Knockout stage didn’t disappoint as fans were treated to thrills, spills and even more shocking upsets.

PHzin vs Montaxer

The eChampions League has provided the FC community with plenty of upsets during the competition, but Montaxter defeating PHzin will go down as one of the most impressive dismantling we’ll see.

PHzin dominated the first half, using relentless pressure to dominate and create opportunities against his opponent. However, Montaxer was able to withstand most of the pressure and keep the scoreline low.

Once the second-half began, Montaxer slowly began to take over the game, smashing in four goals to send PHzin crashing out of the competition.

Montaxer wins 4-1

Jonny vs KeturDylo

German wunderkind Jonny continued his incredible run through the eChampions League with a win over Olympique Lyonnais’ KeturDylo.

A lot of eyes were on Jonny as he looked nearly unbeatable due to his magnificent defence. However, Dylo was able to test Jonny's back line multiple times, unleashing some spectacular passes to try and create a chance.

Luckily for Jonny, he was able to hold onto his lead and stifle a normally potent Dylo attack, earning him his spot in the eChampions League Finals.

Jonny wins 2-1

Bonanno vs Levi de Weerd

It’s a fantastic day for Manchester City players. The real team lifted the Premier League trophy today and Bonanno secured his spot in the eChampions League Finals with an impressive victory over Levi de Weerd.

De Weerd is known for being one of the better defenders competing, but his defending let him down against Bonanno during the early stages. The Argentinian destroyed de Weerd’s backline to shreds, smashing in four goals to send his opponent and fans watching into shock.

De Weerd refused to give up though, scoring three goals in quick succession to ensure that Bonnano had a tough finish, but the Man City man was able to retain the lead and move onto the next stage of the competition.

Bonanno wins 4-3

DaniPitbull vs NKantee

Juventus’ DaniPitbull and Paris Saint-Germain’s NKantee had a close battle with DaniPitbull coming out on top in the end.

Both players threw caution to the wind as they searched for the victory that would take them to the next stage of the competition. Both players exchanged goals throughout the 90 minutes, with many fans gearing themselves up for extra-time.

However, a terrible tackle from NKantee in the 91st minute gave DaniPitbull the chance to take the lead and he did just that by slamming home a penalty to earn a dramatic 4-3 victory.

DaniPitbull wins 4-3

Emre Yilmaz vs Riptorek

Emre Yilmaz’s quest to retain the eChampions League trophy continued with a commanding performance against Riptorek.

Yilmaz was the more experienced player and it showed as he gave Riptorek problems throughout the match. Sadly for the Jagiellonia Białystok player, he didn’t have enough to counter the Dutchman’s skills and passing ability leading to a solid 2-0 victory and entry to the quarter-finals.

Manu Bachoore vs Ekmenn94

Not to be outshone by his PSV Eindhoven teammate, Manu Bachoore also secured his spot in the eChampions League Finals with a closely fought win over Ekmenn94.

It was far from an easy win for Manu as Ekmenn refused to stay down at any point. Despite Ekmenn’s efforts to try and stop his opponent, Bachoore had too many ways to open up the Club Brugge man’s defence.

It was a valiant effort from Ekmenn, who will leave the competition having made his club and country extremely proud. However, Bachoore simply overwhelmed his opponent with his impressive attacking play.

Manu Bachoore wins 5-3

LevyFinn vs Luco Negua

Red Bull Leipzig will be represented in the eChampions League Finals as LevyFinn secured his entry with a close victory over Torino FC’s Luco Negua.

Luco is known for having a potent attack, but was unable to showcase it to its full effect against Levy. Instead, his German opponent took advantage of the spaces Luco left at the back and punished him each time.

His third goal was the best of the bunch as he swiveled on the ball before unleashing a shot that soared into the back of the net.

LevyFinn wins 5-3

Neat vs DFernandes

Two Spanish teams were represented in the final Knockout stage game as Real Valladolid’s Neat took on Cadiz CF’s DFernandes.

As fans expected, this game was attack heavy as both men focused far more on offense when playing against each other. DFernandes opened the scoring early on, but Neat quickly made it 2-1 before the first half was up, scoring a sensational goal to take the lead.

The second half was just as exciting as the first as both players found the back of the net. It seemed like Neat’s proficiency in front of goal would give him the win in regular time, but a goal in the 91st minute equalizer made sure the game went to extra time.

Although the first 90 minutes was a back-and-forth affair, Neat was able to take over during extra-time, scoring two beautiful goals to earn a hard-fought victory and a spot in the eChampions League Finals.

Neat wins 4-3
