This year saw the successful launch of FC Pro, with FC Pro Open and FC Pro Leagues creating incredible competitive opportunities at the global and domestic level. While we aren't announcing anything now, we look forward to bringing you more details on the FC Pro World Championship taking place this summer in Europe soon.
As an addition to our incredible FC Pro competition, today we are announcing that EA SPORTS FC 24 will be at the Esports World Cup, which will include a qualification path through DreamHack events.
As DreamHack celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, we are proud to have open FC 24 competitions hosted at both DreamHack Dallas in the United States and, where it all started, DreamHack Summer in Sweden. DreamHack has been a fixture of the esports scene for years and we believe it will be the perfect environment for FC 24 competitions where amateur and professional players can compete head to head.
The top finishing players at DreamHack, along with invited professional players, will qualify for the Esports World Cup this August. More details about the competitions will be available from ESL FACEIT Group soon.
These events at DreamHack and the Esports World Cup will sit fully outside EA’s FC Pro ecosystem and will not have any bearing on the FC Pro World Championship taking place this summer or any FC Pro competitions next season. We look forward to sharing more about FC Pro in the coming weeks.
