The FC Pro Open returns for Match Week 5, where the two qualification spots in Group A will be decided.
However, before Monday night's action gets underway, its time for Emre Yilmaz, Umut, Mark11, and Lukas to make their FC Pro Draft selections.
What is the FC Pro Draft?
With FC Pro Draft, competitors will be set a budget in coins that they must adhere to. As an example, for the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier in November last year, the budget was set at 8,000,000 coins. Competitors need to build a full squad – their starting XI and subs – that stays within this budget and submit it before the deadline.
The budget amount will change throughout the FC Pro Open, making the job of building a competitive squad even tougher.
Match Week 5 Draft Requirements
For Match Week 5, players have a budget of 8,000,000 coins to build their entire squad. However, they can only select one item per Rarity (e.g. one Icon, one Hero, one In-Form etc).
This new requirement, brought in for MW5, will force players to be more creative with their selections.
Emre Yilmaz
The group leader at the halfway point has opted for a 4-3-3 formation, with the familiar forward line of base item Kylian Mbappe, Hero David Ginola and Trailblazer Caroline Graham Hansen leading the line.
An abundence of rarities can be found throughout the rest of the Dutchman's squad, with UCL Road to the Knockouts Luka Modric (93) being his highest-rated item.
Overall, Yilmaz's squad has a chemistry of just 25.
H1dalgo
H1dalgo has gone very attacking in his quest to bridge the gap to Emre Yilmaz and Umut in Group A.
The Spaniard lines his XI up in a 4-2-4 system, and as such, is the only Group A player to select Icon Eusebio (91) next to Mbappe up top.
Another unique selection is that of Europa League Live Jonathan Clauss at Right-back (88), whose attacking inclinations could prove vital for H1dalgo.
His squad has a chemistry rating of 29.
Lukas
Thus far in the FC Pro Open, Lukas has earned a reputation for selecting somewhat unorthadox squads.
This time around things are slightly more conventional, although he is the only Group A player to select Pele (95) in attack - the highest-rated item that will feature on Monday night.
His old-school 4-4-2 system sees Radioactive Ivan Perisic play on the wide left, while the German is also the only player in the group to go with an all Liverpool central defensive partnership of Nike EA FC Virgil Van Dijk (89) and Thunderstruck Joe Gomez (87).
Lukas will hope that his maxed-out squad chemistry of 33 can give him an extra edge tonight.
Mark11
Without a win in Group A, Mark11 is looking to change his fortunes by lining his side up in a 4-3-3 formation.
A familiar looking forward line will be getting service from from Winter Wildcard Nkunku (90) in CAM and Radioactive Federico Valverde (90).
At Right-back, the Aussie is the only person in the group to select the Leonardo Spinazzola Versus Fire item (85), while his squad chemistry is 29.
Umut
High-flying Umut has opted for the same formation and front three as Group A rival Emre Yilmaz.
However, the rest of the squad does include some interesting - and unique - inclusions. The most notable of which is UEFA Heroes Vincent Kompany (89) at Centre-back, who is joined by former Man City teammate Winter Wildcard Kyle Walker (86) at Right-back.
Umut's squad chemistry of 28 is the second-lowest in Group A.
Most Selected Items
Base Kylian Mbappe (91) - 5 selections
UCL TOTGS Jude Bellingham (89) - 4 selections
Icon Edwin van der Sar (90) - 4 selections
Trailblazer Caroline Graham Hansen (91) 4 selections
