Welcome back! The FC Pro Open officially got back underway on Monday night as Group A returned to London to play their second set of fixtures in Match Week 5.
There were plenty of new items on show this time, with teams required to select just one item per rarity, and that allowed for more variety between each competitor's draft selections.
It’s time to take a look at how each team performed in this week’s FC Pro Draft Review, as well as some percentages from across all five Match Weeks at the FC Pro Open so far.

FC Pro Open Match Week 5 FC Pro Draft Review
The first broadcast game saw H1dalgo go up against Mark11, and it was TOTGS Bellingham who stood out for the Spaniard after scoring a long-range finesse shot in the second half.
While H1dalgo came out on top with a 3-2 victory with a fortunate goal from RTTK Dembele, there was a notable much improved performance from the Futwiz star, who showed his skills with both Mbappe and Nike Putellas.
Mbappe continued to show why he has been picked 19 times at the FC Pro Open so far, with a stellar display for Umut against H1dalgo in game two, in which Hero Kompany also impressed with his astute defending and reliability during defensive duels.
Brazilian legend Pele made his debut in the FC Pro Open as he was selected by Lukas, and he eventually delivered in the third match of the night against H1dalgo, with his multiple goal contributions vital in helping the Hansa Rostock esports star secure fourth to ensure his place at the Global Qualifier next season.
Pele also impressed as Lukas drew 4-4 with Umut in game four, and by the end of that round it was confirmed that Mark11 was set to finish in bottom position. The Futwiz star did, however, defeat Umut, and that meant that the RBLZ pro would finish in second to Emre Yilmaz despite victory over him earlier on in the event.
Some percentages from Match Week 5 of the FC Pro Open
Virgil van Dijk’s gold item may not have featured in Match Week 5, but the Dutch defender maintained his 100% pick selection rate (excluding Icon week in Match Week 3) with all five competitors choosing to use either his Euros or Nike item.
That means that Kylian Mbappe is now the most selected gold item at the FC Pro Open. He has been picked in 95% of teams across the four eligible Match Weeks, with only Lukas opting against selecting him in Match Week 1.
80% of teams at the FC Pro Open have included an item version of Caroline Graham Hansen.
Peter Schmeichel (35%) and Edwin Van der Sar (35%) have been selected most of any goalkeepers, though the former Netherlands international’s selections are split between his base (4) and Thunderstruck (3) items.
Trailblazers Joao Cancelo has been the most popular full-back selection at the FC Pro Open, having been selected in nine teams (45%).

Qualification from both Umut and Emre Yilmaz sees them secure their place into the finals, but also secure upgrades for their respective FC Pro Live items. Both FC Pro Live Donyell Malen and Renan Lodi are now set to receive their final IF upgrade which will see them move to 88 OVR.
FC Pro Live Sadio Mane remains at 88 after H1dalgo failed to reach the 10-point mark.
Two wins and six points for Mark11 provided one IF upgrade for Denis Genreau, while FC Pro Live Randal Kolo Muani will earn a new playing position and playstyle after Lukas finished on seven points.
Who won the draft on Match Week 5 of the FC Pro Open
There were plenty of interesting picks in Match Week 5 with the requirements of one item per rarity, and one of the best was the selection of Hero Kompany by Umut. The item was very reliable across the night, forming a formidable partnership alongside Euros Virgil van Dijk.
With a lot of similarity between the forward lines, that could see Umut make a strong claim as the draft winner in Match Week 5 for his strong meta team, though Lukas could also make a case after he created a squad that included Pele.
The Hansa Rostock pro also had further unique selections in Thunderstruck Gomez, Radioactive Perisic, and Winter Wildcard Mukiele, showing for the second time in Group A that he looks to think outside of the box in some positions.
One of the best picks from Emre Yilmaz was the selection of Dynasties Reece James, who proved his worth at both ends of the pitch.
