FC Pro Open Finals | How to Watch

This season’s FC Pro Open Finals features some of the best EA SPORTS FC™ players in the world as they all battle to become the next FC Pro Open champion.

Taking place Saturday, February 1, at 4 PM GMT in London, England, 12 elite players will compete in front of a live studio audience for a chance to lift this year’s trophy, earn a massive slice of the $532,000 prize pool and secure a spot in the FC Pro World Championship.

With so much talent fighting for their chance for glory, fans can expect this year’s competition to be filled with drama and action.

Here’s how you can watch the FC Pro Open Finals.

Who is competing in the FC Pro Open Finals?

  • Jafonso

  • World Ranking: 4

  • Team: Al Nassr Esportsa

After competing in the European scene for several years, Jafonso took his talents to the U.S. where he delivered a spectacular performance for the New England Revolution, winning the eMLS Cup. His victory was nearly flawless, scoring 18 goals and conceding only three, with his standout moment coming with a 6-0 demolition of K1John in the eMLS Cup.

Despite a lengthy layoff between competitions, Jafonso maintained his momentum in the FC Pro World Championship. Although he lost his first match to Virgil, Jafonso fought back in the Loser Bracket, defeating isopowerr and FC Pro Open champion PHzin to secure a spot in the Knockout Stage.

Wins over Maxkoelemanjj and K1John—for a second time this season—carried him to the semi-finals. Though he eventually lost to finalist Yuval, Jafonso showed his resilience by coming back from a 2-1 deficit to win 4-2 against K1John.

His success in both those competitions meant that he came into the Esports World Cup with plenty of momentum. Luckily for him, he was able to turn that momentum into a career-defining win, lifting the Esports World Cup with a 6-2 win over Young.

Many expected Jafonso to qualify for the FC Pro Open Finals, and the Portuguese player certainly delivered. With six wins and a draw, he secured second place in the group, keeping himself in contention for yet another trophy to add to his already impressive collection.

  • FacuCowen

  • World Ranking: 20

  • Team: Tuzzy Esports

Argentinian esports sensation FacuCowen is gearing up for another shot at glory in the FC Pro Open. After a solid showing at last season’s competition, he’s ready to prove why he’s considered one of the top talents at this year’s tournament.

Last year, FacuCowen made a strong impression despite falling short of advancing past the inaugural FC Pro Open. His incredible Match Week 6 performance, where he racked up 10 points, showcased his potential. Among his scalps were FC Pro Open champion PHzin, eChampions League 2022 runner-up Matias Bonanno, and Esports World Cup runner-up Young—a true statement of intent.

FacuCowen has punched his ticket into the competition by earning his spot through a series of commanding victories in the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier. His standout moments included a dominant 4-0 win over eLigue 1 2024 champion Montaxer and a thrilling 3-2 triumph against eLigue 1 semi-finalist Brice in the Loser Bracket Finals, sending his rival packing.

Despite managing just two wins in Match Week 1, FacuCowen displayed remarkable resilience heading into Match Week 5. His determination paid off as the Argentine secured crucial victories over Jafonso and Mark11, cementing his place in third.

  • Stingray

  • World Ranking: 25

  • Team: Twisted Minds

With a string of trophies and championships to his name, Stingray has cemented his reputation as one of the most formidable EA SPORTS FC players in the world when firing on all cylinders.

The gifted Brit has already made waves internationally, most notably winning the eLigue 1 2023 title alongside Fouma for FC Lorient. His stellar form continued at the 2023 World Championship, where he reached the quarter-finals, taking down elite players such as Leks, BerkayLion, and Montaxer on his journey.

After falling short of qualifying for last year’s FC Pro Open, Stingray returned this season with renewed determination. He made an immediate statement during the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier Group Stage, dispatching Argentinian talent Joelr_21 with a solid 4-2 victory to advance to the Winners Bracket Final.

However, it was his triumph over 2023 World Champion, Manu Bachoore, that truly highlighted his potential as a dark horse in this year’s FC Pro Open. In a tense and thrilling match, Stingray edged out a 3-2 victory, earning his place in the competition and setting the stage for a potential run at the coveted FC Pro Open trophy.

Stingray delivered the standout performance of the Group Stage, recording the highest points tally of any player this season. His dominant run in Match Week 5 showcased his immense potential, reinforcing that the Englishman will be a serious contender in the latter stages—especially if he can sustain the unbeaten form that defined his Match Week 5 campaign.

  • Vejrgang

  • World Ranking: 3

  • Team: RBLZ Gaming

All eyes will be on Anders Vejrgang as he makes his highly anticipated return to the FC Pro Open after capturing the FC Pro World Championship title earlier this summer.

\His legendary 536-game winning streak in Champions, the VBL Club Championship victories in 2022 and 2023, plus success on the international stage when competing for his country, has shown that when he’s locked in, he’s one of the sport’s brightest talents and an incredibly efficient attacking player.

As impressive as those wins were, his run during the inaugural FC Pro World Championship stands out as fans saw arguably the best performances of his career. He defeated some of the best players in the sport, including 2024 eChampions League winner Jonny, eSerie A TIM champion HezerS, eBotola MDJS 2024 winner xcharifx, and eLiga Portugal 2024 winner Yuval to ensure his name would be in the history books as the first person to be named FC Pro World Champion.

Following his FC Pro World Championship win, Vejrgang has turned his attention to the FC Pro Open after the trophy slipped out of his grasp with the last kick of the game against PHzin in last season’s FC Pro Open Finals.

Match Week 2 of the FC Pro Open saw Vejrgang deliver a strong performance, earning 10 points with three victories, one draw, and a single loss to his arch-rival, ManuBachoore.

Vejrgang has lived up to expectations during the FC Pro Open, with many fans expecting him to either claim the trophy or get close once again after it eluded him last season, particularly after an outstanding Group Stage campaign, which saw him defeat ManuBachoore on his way to securing first place.

If he can replicate the level of performance he displayed during the FC Pro World Championship, he stands a strong chance of becoming the next FC Pro Open champion.

  • Nicolas99fc

  • World Ranking: 2

  • Team: Cloud 9

Widely regarded as one of the greatest EA SPORTS FC™ players of all time, Nicolas99fc has earned his GOAT status through a storied career filled with global trophies and appearances in the sport's most prestigious competitions.

Last season, the Argentinian maestro dominated the LALIGA FC PRO competition, claiming both the LALIGA FC PRO Championship and Cup titles in a flawless campaign. With no Loser Bracket to offer second chances, Nicolas99fc had to win every single match to secure the historic double—and he delivered in style. Victories over top-tier opponents like Neat, DFernandes, and NachoAbella showcased his unparalleled skill and composure under pressure.

Before his LALIGA FC PRO triumphs, Nicolas added the 2022 eChampions League title to his résumé with a resounding 7-2 victory over fellow Argentinian Matis Bonanno.

Despite his incredible career achievements, one milestone had eluded him—competing in the FC Pro Open. That changes this year. Nicolas99fc booked his spot in the tournament with decisive wins over Lukas and Umut during the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier Knockout Stage, earning him a shot at adding another major trophy to his already legendary collection.

Nicolas99fc may be frustrated by his inconsistency during the FC Pro Open, but the moments where he has showcased the skill that made him a legend serve as a warning to any opponent. When he's at his best, he remains a formidable challenge for anyone who stands in his way.

  • LJR Peixoto

  • World Ranking: 56

  • Team: FC Lorient

LJR Peixoto has established himself as one of the most intense and focused competitors in the French esports scene over a number of years.

Peixoto’s hallmark is his remarkable consistency. Whether he’s lifting trophies or narrowly missing out, his skills on offence and defence makes him a formidable opponent in any competition.

This consistency was on full display during the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier, where he racked up six impressive wins against strong opponents, including AbuMakkah, NikSNEB, and even his FC Lorient teammate, Fouma.

Though his name might not yet be mentioned among the frontrunners to win the FC Pro Open, fans should not overlook the Frenchman. With his ability to gain momentum and string together decisive victories, Peixoto could easily emerge as the dark horse of this year’s FC Pro Open.

With an impressive nine points from Match Week 6, LJR Peixoto is well on track to secure a spot in the FC Pro Open Finals. However, the FC Lorient player will need to maintain his momentum as eChampions League 2022 winner Nicolas99fc is closing in fast.

The Frenchman focused entirely on his attack during the FC Pro Open, and it certainly paid off. Despite suffering heavy losses in Match Week 2, he staged a remarkable comeback in Match Week 6, securing crucial wins over ManuBachoore and AboFawzi to keep his FC Pro Open dreams alive.

  • Emre Yilmaz

  • World Ranking: 5

  • Team: Team Gullit

Emre Yilmaz proved many times to the EA SPORTS FC community that he should never be counted out when he’s competing on the big stage.

Yilmaz has had plenty of success on the international stage, having made it to the semi-finals of his first international tournament. However, it was his success during 2023 eChampions League that ensured he would be named among the sport’s elite players.

Yilmaz’s eChampions League 2023 run was filled with difficult opponents, including previous winner nicolas99fc, Anders Vejrgang, Stingrayjr, Umut, and HezerS. However, he was able to lift the trophy and add his name to the history books.

It was a similar story during last season’s FC Pro Open as he battled his way through the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier, before a successful run during the Group Stage, where he topped the group with an impressive 6-1-1 record.

He would go on to lose 8-2 to eventual winner PHzin in the FC Pro Open semi-finals but earned a spot in the FC Pro World Championship for making it to that stage of the competition. Since then he’s finished in the top two of the KPN eDivisie Finals and secured a top-four finish in eChampions League 2024.

Emre Yilmaz has secured his place in the FC Pro Open Finals with a commendable performance in Group C. He achieved six wins and one draw, totaling 19 points, which placed him second in the group.

Although he narrowly missed topping the group and securing an automatic spot in the FC Pro World Championship, his consistent performance underscores his status as a formidable competitor in the upcoming finals.

  • Yuval

  • World Ranking: 33

  • Team: Gaimin Gladiators

Yuval has been an active competitor for many years, earning impressive wins on the international scene and competing regularly in club competitions. 2024 saw him continue his ascension up the rankings as he had some huge performances in major competitions.

A spectacular 4-3 win over two legs during last season’s eLiga Portugal 2024 competition ensured that he would have the chance to at least compete in the FC Pro World Championship Play-Ins.

Carrying the momentum from winning the Portuguese league, Yuval dominated Group D at the Play-Ins, earning four wins and going undefeated to secure his spot in the next stage of the FC Pro World Championship.

Despite the competition level rising, Yuval didn’t seem to be bothered by the opponents put in front of him as he went on to defeat some of the biggest names in the tournament. Victories over LALIGA FC Pro winner nicolas99fc (twice) in the Group Stage, eMLS Cup winner Jafonso, eChampions League 2023 winner Emre Yilmaz and former World Champion ManuBachoore proved that he could hang with the sport’s most elite players.

Although he was unable to win the Finals, he did secure his spot in this year’s FC Pro Open. Last season he was only able to make it through to the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier, but after his sensational performance in the FC Pro World Championship many believed he could be a dark horse in the tournament.

Yuval managed to bring his momentum from the FC Pro World Championship to the FC Pro Open 25, Despite competing in Group C, often referred to as the "Group of Death" due to its high level of competition he secured third place with five wins and three draws out of ten matches, totaling 17 points.

Notable victories included wins over Tekkz, Emre Yilmaz, and GuiBarros, which were instrumental in his advancement to the Finals.

  • Obrun

  • World Ranking: 21

  • Team: Exeed

Obrun’s journey began during FIFA 20, but it was his leap into the top 17 the following year that marked him as a rising star. By FIFA 22, he had cemented his place among the elite players in the sport with a remarkable top 3–4 finish at the World Championship—an achievement he repeated in 2023.

Making history as the first Italian to qualify for two consecutive world championships, Obrun consistently proves he’s one of the best EA SPORTS FC players in the world. The FC community had even more chances to witness his skill last season when he competed in the FC Pro Open, securing second place in Group X after defeating renowned opponents such as Tekkz, Levi de Weerd, and The1OS.

Despite a narrow 3–2 loss to eChampions League 2023 winner Emre Yilmaz in the FC Pro Open quarter-finals, Obrun’s hunger for success only grew. Determined to lift the trophy, he returned this year with renewed focus, which was evident in his dominant performance at the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier.

Obrun secured his place in this year’s competition by going undefeated in the qualifier. With seven wins, 40 goals scored, and only 14 goals conceded against top-tier opponents, including Tekkz, ManuBachoore, and Mark11,

His excellent form carried over into the FC Pro Open, as the Italian concluded Match Week 3 with three wins and two draws, extending his remarkable undefeated streak.

Obrun’s dominant run through Group C is made even more impressive considering he came up against some of the best players in the world. A massive 7-2 victory over Umut during Match Week 4 was the highlight of his Group Stage performances and should serve as a warning for other players in his group.

  • Levi de Weerd

  • World Ranking: 14

  • Team: Team Gullit

The Netherlands' star Levi de Weerd is known for being one the sport’s most well-rounded players, having competed in the sport’s biggest competitions throughout his young career.

Since joining Team Gullit at 15 years old, Levi de Weerd has won multiple competitions for club and country. Now at 20 years old, he is living up to his potential and has become one of the sport’s most respected players.

Before joining last year’s FC Pro Open, de Weerd made his name on the national scene, winning the KPN eDivisie 2021-22 and the EA SPORTS Cup along with international trophies for the Netherlands.

His journey during last year’s FC Pro Open was an impressive one, as he defeated fellow top talents in Tekkz, Obrun, and Fouma during the Group Stage to advance to the FC Pro Open Finals.

An impressive 4-1 win over RBLZ Gaming’s Umut secured his spot in the semi-finals, where he would lose a closely fought 4-3 battle against Anders Vejrgang.

Despite the loss, De Weerd continued to prove that he’s one of the best EA SPORTS FC players in the world, having won the KPN eDivisie 2024 and competed in the eChampions League and inaugural FC Pro World Championship.

Levi de Weerd's impressive performance in Match Week 8 of the FC Pro Open secured him the top spot in Group D, propelling him into the FC Pro Open Finals. His victories over former teammate PHzin, Paulo Neto, and Fouma were key to his qualification.

As the FC Pro Open Finals approach, Levi de Weerd stands as a formidable competitor, ready to showcase his skills on the grand stage.

  • AbuMakkah

  • World Ranking: 1

  • Team: Team Falcons

s one of the standout players emerging from Saudi Arabia, AbuMakkah has quickly become a fan favourite thanks to his exceptional skill and lethal goal-scoring ability.

While his talent has never been in question, AbuMakkah has truly established himself as a top-tier competitor through strong performances in major tournaments. A semi-finalist finish at the Esports World Cup and a quarter-final run at the FC Pro World Championship have solidified his reputation as one of the most in-form players in the sport.

AbuMakkah is no stranger to the FC Pro Open, having reached the quarter-finals last season, where he was narrowly defeated 4–3 by eventual champion PHzin. Since then, however, his game has reached new heights, making him a serious contender in this year’s competition.

The world number one currently sits at the top of Group D with 12 points, having defeated all his opponents except Levi de Weerd.

A strong run of wins in the upcoming matches will not only solidify his position as a frontrunner for the FC Pro Open Finals but also make him a leading candidate for an invite to the FC Pro World Championship, further proving why he’s the best in the world.

Despite an inconsistent run during Match Week 8, AbuMakkah remains one of the most formidable players in the FC Pro Open 25. His earlier performances, including a dominant 8-0 victory over KTzn in Match Week 4, have solidified his reputation as a top contender.

Although he faced challenges in the latest matches, his overall skill and track record suggest he could still be a favorite to advance in the competition.

  • KTZN

  • World Ranking: 43

  • Team: Galatasaray Esports

Kaan "KTzn_91" Tüzün might not be the player everyone expects to make a deep run at this year’s FC Pro Open, but fans shouldn’t be surprised if he emerges as one of the competition’s biggest dark horses.

A mainstay in the Turkish international team, KTzn_91 has built a reputation as a dangerous opponent and a fan favourite. His ability to capitalise on even the smallest opportunities to score makes him a must-watch whenever he competes in major tournaments.

At the club level, KTzn_91 has earned widespread recognition for his dominance in Turkey. He claimed the eSüperLig 2023 title and followed it up with victory in the eTürkiye Kupası 2024, cementing his position as the country’s most dominant player.

His impressive performance during the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier—where he defeated formidable opponents like AboFawzi and Bandar to secure his spot—proves he has the skill and determination to compete with the best.

KTzn's remarkable turnaround in Match Week 8 of the FC Pro Open 25 has indeed been a highlight of the tournament. Starting at the bottom of Group D with just 3 points, he delivered outstanding performances, securing victories against reigning champion PHzin, eLigue 1 champion Fouma, and world number one AbuMakkah.

This impressive streak propelled him to third place in the group, earning him a spot in the FC Pro Open Finals.
